Hypothetically, if Hatton goes onto beat DLH + Pac + Cotto +Margarito+Floyd again...

Lands a flying left hook to the point of Wlads chin causing an upset KO. Distraught by his brothers health and loss earlier in the night, Vitali fights poorly and struggles to land amid all Hattons wrestling.

Having built up this amazing record and winning streak and becoming the unified HW champ in one night, Hatton gets multi mullions of dollars maybe even billions, which through epic celebrations are injected back into the economy producing more demand, supply, jobs, income, stability which swings the UK economy into a boom, which then flows through to the world economy.

If he did all of that he would top 5 ATG.

    I don't know?

If he won back-to-back contests against Godzilla and Rodan I'd probably slip him into the top 100.

Oh, and he'd still have to beat Bradley and the next 10 best American light-welters/welters to have a chance of making the Top 1000 Boxers whose surname begins with a "H".

Hatton would be a top 50 P4P ATG certainly, IMO. Probably higher.

Margarito would be a HUGE win for Hatton. I don't see how he could do it, honestly.

DLH is much bigger/better than Hatton, too, even if he is old.

If Floyd came out of retirement and looked anything like he did pre-retirement and Hatton beat him clearly, MASSIVE win.

Pacquiao is P4P #1, even if he is a big smaller than Hatton. If Pac beats DLH this win would also be HUGE.

Cotto is bigger than Hatton and a VERY dangerous fight. Hatton would have to pull off a huge upset here against a style that would own him.

Seriously, if there was an active fighter with 40+ wins, among them DLH/Margarito/Cotto/MAYWEATHER/Pacquiao and only a single loss (to PBF, who he would theoretically beat in the rematch)...goddamn.

This is only a dumb question because Hatton would be a huge underdog against all of these guys except maybe Pacquiao, who he would probably be even money with (barring Pacquiao looking impressive/beating DLH) and would, likely, get stopped by ALL of them.

Only fighter that I think for sure he would beat is Pac. Cotto is a toss up and I personally would give Hatton the edge..The rest would dominate him.

But hypothetically speaking, if he were to win all those fight to go along with the win over KT I think that he would be top 3 or this era. And for sure an ATG

Ridiculous thread. Same answer would apply with any fighter in that weight range who could beat all those guys. Yes it would be great.
