Hypothetically, if Manny Pacquiao was to be found doping...how much would you care?

I would care, but I don't think he was ever on steroids.

As a Filipino Pac fan, I'd forget he ever existed if proven without a doubt he cheated. I wouldn't be surprised if he received death threats from his own country for the biggest lie in boxing history.

It would erase all his recent achievements. I wouldn't be all ***** mad about it though. Whatever. That's on whoever does it.

It would only be the tip of the iceberg if he were eventually caught red-handed. It would also prove that PEDs really do improve performance otherwise no one would bother taking it in sports. Anything that gives you an edge in a sport where you are beating another fighters' brains out should be illegal and outlawed. You can also expect many more athletes to take PEDs because Pac would be living proof of the leaps and bounds it can do for your game.

I'm a pac fan and if he'll be found to be doping he must must vanish on earth. But don't worry he's not and he will not resort to using illegal substance. It's pure courage and hard work that puts him on this situation that many can't believe. I understand why so many people try to discredit him, severals years ago fitting him against top dogs of lightweight, light welter and welter is something ridiculous but in just a little time he's able to achieve. Those things were unforseen of him years ago.

Can't believe people are saying its ok.

To be honest I would just say let everyone take waht they want. However, those are not the rules so anybody using banned substances is cheating their opponents who also have families and responsibilities.

Whats worst is that people hold some of these boxers up as some moral standard in life. They're human.

For example people cheat on their wives all over the world. But it hurts people like Pac because they allow their fans to make them out as something they are not.

Well I think he wouldn't deserve to be among the ATGs.

He should be banned forever just like any otehr boxer imo, including Mosley who every seems to forgive. People say its ok cus he was a man and admitted it himself before being caught but thats rubbish. If he was such a man as people use the term he wouldnt have done it in the first place. Ban all cheaters from all sports for life imo and send a clear and strong message.

it would depend on WHEN he started.

if he started using when he made the jump to welter (say from the dlh to the cotto fight), i'd be disappointed but understanding - he was fighting guys naturally much bigger.

but if he started using from the first barrera fight, then all he has accomplished don't mean **** to me and i'll be embarrassed for the motherland.

You cant begin to rationalise it tho because of fighting bigger guys ect, Once you go down the path of starting to rationalise cheating eventually you convince yourself you only did it to make things fair and then after that you still only carried on doing it because your getting older and then probally convince yourself that you have to do it because surely the other guy will be aswell ect ect.

I'd be gutted if it happened. I'm pretty sure Pacquiao is clean, but if he were found to be doping I think it would destroy a lot of what he has done, his legacy, and all the joy I've gotten out of watching him fight in the last few years.

I voted for the first option "...no place for cheaters...". I can't look at Pac as a legitimate great fighter. It would be unfair to his opponents, if he was on steroids or other illegal substances. This is not to say that his opponents are not doing the same thing also. But the point is, how can anyone look at any cheater with respect? Yeah everyone's cheating, but it's still cheating. As fans we have to respond negatively to cheaters in order to help prevent cheating. We have to do our part no matter how small it may be. I hope Pac is clean (and I think he is), and this steroid controversy is nothing more than a hype job for a future Pac-FMJ fight.

I voted for option 1. But you should have put an option for "Yes, if it is officially sanctioned by the commission".
