This is a fight I would kill to see. Who do you think would take this?

I don't know if I'm just biased but I'll stick pick Vasquez over JuanMa.

LOPEZ would ko Vazquez today, tomorrow and before the Rafa trilogy...Both of those guys have never tasted such power. They can last 12 rds. with each other but they'll never last 12 with Juanma... too bad people have already made their decision if Juanma wins is because of the effects of the trilogy...

    Vazquez.

Lopez hasn't fought a genuine, top class, non-chinny 122lb'er yet.

Penalosa is a real tough guy but faded and 118lbs, and he took Lopez late and was retired by Roach - could have gone a bit longer.

    Lopez at this point.

He is not just a Ponce De Leon who is all aggression and power and nothing more, he is a surprisingly a good boxer who is very active and is actually big for his division.

Vazquez... Lopez has shown me nothing that would lead me to believe that he could crush Izzy. Particularly when you compare his okay resume with Izzy's outstanding resume of opponents.

So until I see that Vazquez truly is shot, or I until I see Lopez going through world class competition, than I'm going to have to stick with the champ, Israel vazquez.

Excellent post. Vasquez is as fresh as he was five to ten years ago. Please continue to post here with your brilliant analysis.

Lopez takes this one. Vazquez has been in some wars, not least to mention the three amazing & highly absorbing bouts with Marquez. There's just too much mileage on the clock for Israel while Lopez is at his best or fast approaching it!

Acouple of years ago & I think Vazquez takes this. Can't see this one happening. Vazquez is soon having his first bout since March 2008 having had sugery for a detached retina. There will be some rust to get rid of!

I think Vazquez is shot fighter now and that's the only reason why I would take JuanMa if they ever did fight.
