Hypothetically would you give Ward credit...

...if he moved to 175, faced an easy entrance fight, someone like Chavez or even Fonfara then, and then either fought Adonis in a fantasy fight (promotional bullsh*t) and beat him soundly or straight on fought Kovalev and beat him soundly...would you give the guy his due props or would you still hate one the greatness just because he's black and doesn't KO all his opponents? :huh

Or would you be one of those guys who says "lol fought Kovalev and beat him to duck Quintuple Quadruple Triple Double Bubble Rubble GGGx100"? :nut

And yeah don't switch this around by saying would I give credit to Golovkin or anyone else in this situation...this is strictly giving or not giving Ward credit for the above scenarios. :good

I'd be beyond shocked if Andre 'The Road Warrior' Ward made those fighters you mentioned fair offers so the fights could happen

The people saying Ward is going up to LHW to avoid Golovkin have be trolling.

Also, I would be shocked if Ward fights Kovalev or Stevens in his second fight at LHW.

If Andre finishes a 3 fight contract in less than 3 years, I'll give him props.

I've always respected his skills, but damn, this guy sabotages his career worse than Winky did. I'd be thrilled if he got back on track and got back in the ring more often.

I'd imagine the 3rd fight of the deal would be Kovalev, and I'd think they'd be targeting late 2016 or early 2017 for that.

Given Ward's recent history there is absolutely no reason to think that the last fight of a 3 fight deal would take place before 2019.

Ive been calling for Ward to move up for quite some time after the super six. he left a sour taste after he wouldnt fight Bute for a unification instead leaving the door open for Froch to revitalise his career. then same thing again when he had the chance to make a name for himself by moving up to fight Chad Dawson at 175 . . . . instead drained him down in weight.

Now after the long layoff from the stinker that was the Rodriguez fight (although granted all of Wards fights are unwatchable to me) he chose to fight an overweight Paul smith coming off two losses.

All that being said if he were to fight a tune up fight at 175, id be okay with Fonfara (possibly Cleverly should he somehow win) but as far as chavez is concerned it would just be another waste. there are plenty more deserving fights such as Alvarez, Beterbiev, Braehmer, Oosthuzien, Chilemba, Pascal but the trouble is Ward would likely price himself out against the Big names and refuse to travel as he always does.

should he somehow beat Kovalev legitimately I would give him credit but he has a habit of turning fights ugly with excessive clinching and his use of the head ..... its nothing to do with him being a black guy with next to no punching power, I actually enjoy a lot of Bernard Hopkins fights and would sooner rewatch the Calzaghe/Jones 2 bouts than sit through another Ward snoozefest

Sure, I said before beating Beterbiev and Kovalev would be quite insane. Stevenson I think he's beatable but he deserves great credit for beating him too.

No, no I wouldnt. In the privacy of my own home I would, but on here I wouldn't. Besides, let's face it, he'd half to be on that A-side meth to beat the Krusher. If Ward actually agrees to a contract to fight Sergey, with drug testing, and puts on a halfway competitive effort I'd be absolutely shocked.

Stevenson would be 40 by the time Ward decides to fight him. I would not give too much credit for that. A clean win over Kovalev would deserve huge props.

Full props for sure. Anyone who would do otherwise is pure hater.
