    I sent an E-mail to Asian Boxing asking for them to keep an eye out for Choi Vs Mizutani, they replied
    "will do, but it tends to take a few weeks to get Korean videos...just got the WBA Asia middleweight title bout from May 9th (?) and some PABA fight. Will pop them on the site shortly". Also nice enough to tell me that to find Choi's stuff in Korean I'm to search for "최현미".

    Might be getting the Dan Bi Kim fight from the same card...one day

    Yeah, I figured that out myself - 최현미 is just a phonetic transliteration of "Hyun-Mi Choi" from Roman alphabet into Chosŏn'gŭl. In other words, if you plug her name into Google Translate, from English into Korean, those are the characters it produces. :good

    She was christened thus by the South Koreans, that's how they know her and it pretty much has become her "gimmick" and what she's promoted on.

    They view her (a bit patronizingly) like a novelty act. Like, "oh, isn't that cute, the feisty little North Korean refugee girl thinks she's tough..."

    HMC will fight in a non-title tuneup on Sunday against Siriwan Thongmanit
    AKA Keanpetch Onesongchaigym, a rematch of Thongmanit's challenge for Choi's title in May of 2014. Choi beat Thongmanit by TKO8 last time.
