Hello buddy. What's the frame of your documentary? We have a poster on here called John Garfield who saw Jake fight, and although not a huge fan, he knows the man's style. But i'm not sure where he is, I fear he may be in New York still. Everyone else, is SuzieQ in or around that area? He'd be perfect for this gig
I read his post and thought of SuzieQ. He is perfect for that. John Garfield would be a first hand wittness though. Best would be interviewing both.
I will be honest. The two best out to discuss Lamotta is John Garfield and Raging Bull. I would be happy to do it though if asked. Lamotta is one of my favorites and I do a lot of studying on the era.

Just to let you all know, Steve and his film crew came to a Ring 8 meeting several months ago and interviewed several members, including myself. I just received an E-Mail from him asking my wife and I to sign off on a picture of both of us for the documentary. So it looks like they will be finishing up shortly.
