Kovalev is faster than people say he is. Look at how he charged at Sillakh.

I am not a fan of Hopkins, at all. I do, however, respect his achievements and ability to impose his will on fighters.

My prediction is that he cannot do this for an entire fight with Kovalev.

Everything I have heard has made it clear that Kovalev is ready for what Hopkins brings. So to win, Hopkins will have to better him by punishment.

Sorry, but I don't think he can do it.

That doesn't mean it won't be interesting.

Kovalev by mid to late TKO.

    1. Well for starters, Hopkins is the best fighter Krusher done fought this far.
    2. Krusher has never fought anyone as expericence, crafty, and smart like Hopkins.
    3. Even at the age he is, Hopkins is still better then the majority of the light heavyweights out there.
    4. Krusher only has a punchers chance in winning. If Bhop makes it difficult for Krusher to hit him, which he will. Krusher has no wins.
Those are just a few reasons why fans think Hopkins will win the fight.

P4P they're pretty comparable, but I'd rate Pavlik higher in that he's fought better opposition than Kovalev has.
I think Pavlik is a tad faster and as far as smarts is concerned, Pavlik did rather well fighting within himself and weathering the storm that was an undefeated Jermaine Taylor who was coming off beating Bernard Hopkins.
Let me also add that Pavlik throws his shots alot straighter and less telegraphed than Kovalev.

As it stands right now I'd rate Pavlik a better fighter than Kovalev.

This may be the case, as although people have said Hopkins has dominated his last few times out, to me it looks like he fights less and less each time out, so I do hope thats the case against Kovalev and we can enjoy watching Hopkins get his or as well see him embarrass himself once again and cement his legacy as the quitting little ***** that he is.

Truthfully I'd love nothing more than to see Hopkins fake another injury. Just would love to hear his fanboys explain that away. :D

George Bush was still president when BHOP beat Pavlik.

Kovalev is a monster compared to Kelly.

If Hopkins has the ref in his pocket, he has that chance

But its still a MASSIVE risk. Kovalev is right up there with GGG in terms of brutally dangerous

This is the guys big chance to shine. You can bet your ass off he's trained like never before. And that's a terrifying prospect for Hopkin

That's fine and dandy but my original point still stands. Pavlik has a better resume...
