That’s right I got non other than the UK’s Billy Joe Saunders beating Canelo Álvarez. Canelo hasn’t fought a quick handed quick footed slickster since Erislandy Lara, a fight that could have gone either way. Saunders will be motivated and focused for this fight and I think will win a competitive 7-5 decision.

Ok so what are the chances of Saunders actually getting the decision? He needs a ko to win and he doesn’t have the power

I don't think there's an argument that can overturn this one.

A waxwork Canelo gets a split decision.

The judges will get it right. Oscar isn’t running the show anymore.

No matter what Canelo’s the #1 guy in boxing. He’s gonna be getting gift decisions throughout his prime.

If Billie was active fighting 2 times a year, sure i'd have him to edge a points decision.

Right now though he is going to win some early rounds, gas out then cruise to the 12th round to survive. Canelo to win a decision with one wide card from a corrupt judge

Add Canelo's PED cycle into it as well.

    8-4 Canelo

If they allowed PEDs & blood doping with 3 months Billie would stand a chance, his stamina and conditioning is too far gone though.

Saunders once had a good chance.

But he's looked like dog poop on sun-baked asphalt since there Lemieux fight.

People saying Canelo's improved, but he won't have improved his game against southpaws. It was years ago since he last fought one and just because you improve your game against orthodox fighters it doesn't mean you improve against southpaws, it is a completely different angle and feel and you have to throw completely different punches to set up other punches and you also have to feel comfortable against them which Canelo doesn't also a small slow footed fighter against a taller more mobile quicker footed and handed southpaw is a tough ask for the smaller fighter

I also think that BJS has a good chance on a convincing points win . Not a controversy

I would agree but also don't see the judges ruling against the guy they are trying to make the new superstar.

    Canelo is not that great.
