I’m stunned anyone could give Canelo the GGG fight on their scorecard

It's because he was getting shellacked up to there and managed to put up a bit of a fight in the 10th. It's all about context.

Try pretending that Golovkin had been losing round after round up to the start of the 1oth and that you're praying that he has something left in the tank to turn the tide. Voila. A GGG recovery, innit! He's back in the fight.

Nice. I await your next work.

You sound like an intelligent Herolgee in this skin.

So you gave Canelo the first 3, and Golovkin rounds 4-12? All 3 judges gave Canelo Rounds 10-12. Most people saw Canelo winning those rounds, or at least making a statement in those rounds. For you to basically just no sell Canelo even being competitive in those rounds sounds pretty biased.

Rounds 8 and 9 were pretty close too, Canelo landed a major uppercut in the 8th and landed a lot more jabs than compubox gave him credit for in that round. Round 9 was close as well. Nothing wrong giving those rounds to Golovkin on work rate, but those were close rounds. 4 was pretty much a toss up round, everybody's just giving that round to Golovkin because he did better than the first 3, but Canelo was still outboxing Golovkin and winning more exchanges. 5 I gave to Golovkin, but Canelo was controlling the first half, I thought Golovkin came on towards the end of the 5th and won it down the stretch, but Canelo was winning that round halfway through, and HBO had him ahead on punch stats at the end, indicating it was a close round. Golovkin didn't really win too many rounds clearly, he was getting hit by too many big punches even in the rounds he was controlling, yet you have him winning most of these rounds clearly. We're obviously looking at different things that's determining who we thought won the rounds.

That's cool though, you're entitled to your opinion and your scoring criteria. I try to be as unbiased as I can. I didn't see many easy to score rounds, you're not the only Golovkin fan who thought he won that fight clearly. It is what it is, however I don't see how you're stunned anyone could have it for Canelo. He landed the better punches round after round, got outworked in spots, but started strong, finished strong, landed more body shots, landed the more flashy punches. It's not some big mystery how Canelo won that. Golovkin makes it tough though because he maintains aggression, keeps moving forward, has a good poker face, and does have a decent jab.

    9-3 you are tripping.

I had GGG winning 7-5 at best.

Yeah I mean his score and statements about how round 10 wasn't even close and how apparently he didn't think round 11 was close either, I mean, these are rounds that most people gave to Canelo, or even if you gave them to Golovkin would at least admit that Canelo made a statement in those rounds. It seems that this poster is your typical Golovkin homer fan. But that's OK I mean whatever floats your boat, if you want to come on here and act like Golovkin won the fight by that kind of a margin, that's your prerogative, but it just comes off as biased.

I mean we have people convinced that Canelo was using illegal hand wraps because Sanchez said it, despite their being no rule banning "stacking" of hand wraps. People just believe whatever they want to believe, and you've just got to understand that.

I looked at press row scores. Plenty of 9-3 and a handful of 10-2 cards for GGG. So some saw it my way. Like I said, Canelo could have gotten another round or two on my card, making it 8-4 or 7-5.

Still can’t see how anyone had it a draw or him winning.

I’m such a homer that I have Canelo the first 3.

I score all my fights the same. I don’t change how I score based on who’s fighting.

I thought Canelo was in retreat much of the fight and got outhustled and outworked.

Seeing how 95% of press row and former or current fighters saw it the same way kinda says a lot.

Well, seeing how 8-4 was a common press row score, I’m off by 1 round and admitted 2 rounds were close.

    So yeah, I’m tripping.

We all know body work is never counted as the same as head work. Come on, now.

If fighter A lands ten good body shots and fighter B lands seven good head blows, fighter B is gonna win the round.

Well...there are not 56 reasons why it is happening:

1- that person is completely dishonest or delusional

2- that person is a total Clenelo nuthugger

    3- that person DKSAB

4- that person is a troll

    Don’t look further than that.

I'm none of those things and I had Canelo winning pretty clearly on clean effective punching, better defense, more body shots, landed the harder punches, etc.
