I actually admire Pac for taking a stance and holding his ground on principle...

firstly, for the record, my wife is asian, and therefore my child is 1/2, so i have nothing againt asians

but to say they are the most dignified race, have the most intergrity, etc. is a but wacky, imo

not only is it racial stereotyping, it also has no bounds on how one individual would function inside said stereotype

but just for fun, some "dignified" asian behavior:

If I was a clean fighter and whipping people's asses like Pac, Someone accusing me of steriods would be a complement to how I handle my business in the ring; Especially if that accuser is the other recognized #1 pound for pound. 20 mill on the line, I take the test to confirm I'm clean and have been. Then I show him I really am that great in the ring by whipping his ass cleanly.

It makes it look bad to not agree to blood testing randomly and some people will take that bit and say he is on PEDs, affecting legacy in those people's eyes. I don't think pac is on something until he is caught. But If he refuses and keeps making the blood testing an issue in negotiations for the next fight then I'm gonna be looking at him funny. Funny like i think he is full of **** about this superstition. Somebody should be working with him to break him of it. Show him he still can do the same things shortly after having blood drawn. It's that simple with training. There is too much money on the line which will prolly be 60+ million to split. If he isn't broken of the laughable superstition, making the fight fall through, I will really be questioning him then. I could break someone of that superstition with hard training in 1 or 2 weeks, to show them they are the same fighter regardless of a few viles of blood drawn.

It just makes too much business sense to break him of this and go forward with all championship fights through out boxing from now on being clean regarless of how it came about.

Arum is to blame for that. He handled the process extremely poor and it has left Pac as the loser. I seriously can't wrap my head around how in so many eyes it is now Pac's fault. Pac's done nothing wrong, he's not mean spirited, his dad and family isn't out there calling other fighters cheaters, etc. That's not cool and it's not something that a real man would do.

Buddy, let's first make Pacquiao irrelevant in this conversation to understand each other here.

Now...we can never put everyone in the same basket in anything, but there are tendencies we can't deny either.

Today's Asian people have been westernized more than ever, just like the rest of the world.

It doesn't change the fact that culturally speaking through time, Asians in general, gave more importance as a whole to HONOR & DIGNITY....

It's a cultural thing, possibly less present in today's world, with the newest generations, but nonetheless more so than in most other cultures, and your links won't alter that....

Invincible adding to Pac's legendary legacy. Pac has to be roided because nobody can be that good...but offers zero documentable evidence.

If Pac ever takes the blood tests and tests clean, Invincible becomes a ******* by default....because you can't have it both ways.

    it's all "face"

on the surface it may appear that way, but in reality, it's a farce

japan, and japanese culture would probably most fit your description, but when it;s all said and done you get:

    [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanking_Massacre[/ame]

and to this day, they still have a museum that blames WW2 on America (because america wouldn't continue to supply japan with oil, so japan could continue attacking china)

i have lived in 2 different asian countries, and imho, it's all "face"

Pacquiao is from, perhaps, the most corrupt country in the world. He was just accused of trying to murder his political foe, as well. There were weapons in the car, which were registered under his wife's name.

Well if your going to say a statement like that.... Lets see you prove it

Alot of empires and nations preached honor and dignity, often to justify the murder and conquering of many innocent people or as a way to keep people in line and predictable.....

So show me something to prove your assumption, that is, if you have any Honor or Dignity......

My point is agreeing to the testing that was imposed by Floyd has a result of his false accusations would be like Manny giving in to Floyd after his irresponsible actions.

Sure he could and he probably will but you have to understand that NO ONE would be cool with giving in to anyone who has lied and defamed your rep. Especially if it required that person to do something outside the norm.

Its not that Manny DID NOT agree to the testing b/c he did. But there were certian aspects that Manny would absolutely not agree with which pertained to the blood testing up to the day of the fight.

Of course it won't reflect poorly on Manny if he did take the test and passed but it all has to do with who is requesting the tests and how he went about establishing those demands at the expesne of PAC's repuation. That just wasn't right any way you try to spin it.

don't get me wrong, i think there are plenty of corrupt westerners too, but the notion that asian culture is somehow more trustworthy is nonsense
