I actually admire Pac for taking a stance and holding his ground on principle...

yea is ok for pac to demand a 10 million dollar penalty if floyd goes past 147. TEN MILLION DOLLARS. but is not ok if floyd make a demand. In the sad part is that floyd will be taking the test also.

The $10 Million dollar demand was JUST AS funny as Floyd's Demand for additional testing...#1....Everyone knew Floyd could and would make 147 easily and #2...it was ****ing $10MILLION !:patsch

That was clearly a method Manny and team used to got "tit for tat" with Floyd bc of his allegations and demands. I'm not gonna say it wasn't stupid b/c it was.....but so was demanding blood tests that stemmed from baseless and unfounded accusations form the opposite camp.

Sad is not the word....smart and tactful..YES!

I guess you didn't see where I state that the demands Manny had were some ol bull**** in my post you quoted?

Same with Mayweather. If he really thinks Pacquaio is on PEDs, why would he allow a certain amount of days wherein Pac would not be tested? Why is he giving concession as well?

I mean he is talking about his health and safety, and yet, he is allowing that guy to have a chance to 'droid up leading to the fight?:huh

Are they giving him a chance to cheat on those days? :think

With that, it basically defeats his purpose of leveling this playing field BS, and all these clean up the dirty sports crap crusade!

Because if he is just playing mind game with Pacquaio, then why blame Pac for not dancing with him in this mind game?

Anyway, just a rant about this whole ****in' thing.

They just need to both play a bigger man in this situation so this fight can happen. :deal

    [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamikaze[/ame]

In the last line it says "The tradition of [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide"]suicide[/ame] instead of defeat, capture, and perceived shame was deeply entrenched in the Japanese military culture. It was one of the main traditions in the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samurai"]samurai[/ame] life and the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bushido"]Bushido[/ame] code: [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loyalty"]loyalty[/ame] and [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honor"]honor[/ame] until death."

    Will this qualify as history?

Now you just look silly. To try to equate Japanese tradition with Filipino tradition is just plain ignorant.

I'd admire him too except for the fact that he went from pretty much accepting the testing conditions to rejecting them to making up lame excuses to pointless dragging in negotiations when if he could have just said no from the beginning, he woulda been ok in my book.

It IS a concession. Pacquiao could have hold his ground out of principle by not agreeing to the additional non-mandatory drug testing in the first place however what would the Floydettes and his haters say if he did do that? They're already accused him of not wanting the fight from the start even though he did make a compromise. Imagine if he didn't make a compromise, wouldn't that suggest he didn't want the fight in the first place?

Then why doesn't pac suggest even a more strict test. The it'll be his idea and PBF will have to comply w/ the tests. Kinda seem childish to be concered w/ who's idea it is. The bottom line is having a fair fight.

Floyd suggested the tests that stemmed from his accusations regarding PAC doping....so Manny can't come up with that idea b/c it's already out there. A fair fight is what boxing is suppose to be about anyway.

Considering Floyd nor Manny has EVER been linked or heard to be using or doping the fight should have went through like ALL of Manny and Floyd's fights in the past. This requirement that Floyd demanded came out of the blue and ultimately was the downfall of the fight itself.

I don't think any cares who's idea it was...moreso the path that was taking to promote the idea.

This. It was the fact that Floyd Sr. and Floyd Jr. made those wild accusations. That's what pissed Manny off, and that's why he didn't go with Floyd's demands. If they didn't make those accusations, I bet everything would have went through.

But honestly, who's going to concede to some loudmouth who's accused you of taking drugs and is spreading lies about you? Manny told him to **** off, and rightfully so.

No, he didn't. He said, "sure, I will take any blood test", just as long as he has enough time to juice-up with a 24 day cutoff.

Floyd Sr. was the megaphone to what the rumors were about PAc coming from 112 to 147. Mark McGuire hit 70 home runs. Do you think it was wrong for people to suspect that McGuire was using even though he passed drug tests in baseball? Please. You Pactares invented thereason why YOU think Floyd wanted testing, and you blame it on the PAc one punch ko win over Hatton for some reason lol...
