I actually doubt Canelo would last as long as Brook did.

When you look at the volume of punches Canelo throws as compared to Golovkin (GGG threw 300 in 4.5 rounds while Canelo threw 170 in 6 full rounds) I really struggle to see how a flat footed Canelo beats Golovkin. Canelo didn't even floor old man Mosley so I doubt he is going to do enough to GGG to make Golovin stop throwing and attacking. Canelo takes too many breaks during rounds and I just think Golovkin would seek and destroy at those points. Brook moved well, Canelo doesn't.

I'd rather see Golovkin vs Jacobs, vs a Dirrell bro, Zurdo, Degale or Ward. Jacobs is the only mw I have interest in. Financially though, i guess there are a couple more worthwhile fights at 160.

    Trust me
When Canelo feels the power he's getting on his trout bike. Canelo may survive but he will lose fans during the fight with the running he does.

And if gggs next fight isn't Lara, Jacobs, bjs, or Eubanks he needs to move up. Lara might be competitive but the others are mismatches.

Well I don't think Canelo will be able to beat Golovkin but I still feel Canelo is the biggest challenge to GGG aside from Ward,Froch and possibly Jacobs, the problem is for Canelo and anyone facing Golovkin for that matter is trying to stop the man from walking through shots, the guy is unreal and seems to enjoy the fact that his chin is made of Karagrandan Iron.
I only wished Canelo believed in himself more as he also has an iron chin,I think that Oscar doesn't think he can beat Canelo and Hearn said that Canelo is practically killing himself to get down to 154 to carry out Oscars plans, just hope Oscars doubts don't effect Canelo as he and Golovkin would be a really great fight and unlike the Mayweather and Manny fight I recon it'd be a proper tear up and a drama show because as Golovkin rightly says "this is Box"!

It seems you know very little about Canelo's fight style. Counter Punchers are not usually known for throwing a lot of punches. They wait to counter and punish their opponents when they open up.

The reason "Flat footed" Canelo struggles with defensive fighters like Mayweather, Lara, and Trout is because he has to be the aggressor in every exchange.

Canelo's connect % against come forward fighters is 40-60%. Against slick defensive fighters its 25-30%.

GGG will have to eat major leather to get close to Canelo,a nd as open as GGG is, you can bet your ass Canelo will be countering GGG when he comes in with his face first like he likes to do.

Canelo can't go 4 rounds but superstars such as Willie Monroe Jr, Gabe Rosado, Stevens, Lemieux, Adama and Ouma can go many more...............

    Yeah right!!!!!!

You just lost a lot of credibility. He's entire style is counter puncher. I hope you're not engaging in debates you know very little about.

When he needs to play the role of pressure fighter he is out of his natural element.

Funny you should mention JMM because they have a similar fight style. Of course JMM is much more experienced and accomplished than where Canelo stands today, but they are both counte punchers who use similar feints to set up traps, and who use their right hand in similar fashion.

JMM is more fluid with his punches, while Canelo is more explosive with his.
