Loma is worthy of praise. He's P4P #1 but the problem he faces is that he really has no other fighters at 135 that can make for legacy fights not his fault but that's just the way it is. The only guy that can make for a legacy fight would be Garcia but I doubt he can make 135 anymore. Loma will either have to move up to 140 which is better than 135 or stay at 135 and face B- and C level fighters and let his resume suffer from it. With that said maybe Berchelt will move up or Davis moves up but who knows if they will be any good at 135 anyway.

Already explained the 4 reasons why earlier in the thread.

But what actual evidence are you using to support the theory he has issues with pressure fighters?

I pretty much agree without OP.

He’s pfp #2 for me. I don’t really care how many pro fights he’s had because he’s in his late twenties with an ATG am record, and had several semi-pro fights before officially turning pro...and that’s better experience than crushing twenty no-hopers like other prospects.

I am impressed with his win over Gary Russel. I thought he underperformed against Linares. I think we do need to see him against a good pressure fighter again; Prograis or Taylor would fit the bill. He doesn’t stand out as being the best fighter h2h right now.

Make your mind up, are you basing everything on Salido or not?

I'm not going to sit here and scream Orlabdo Salido all day long. So I give him a pass for the Salido loss. But I'm concerned that he will struggle against pressure fighters.

You hit it right on the head Bro. I have to add, the Waters fight was an obvious hoax. I mean, the guy has won three world titles, he's gained NINE FREAKIN POUNDS!

It's going to be real ugly here when he loses again. And he will, and soon, and badly.

If you have Crawford p4p number 1 it makes all your points invalid.
Loma and Usyk are the only two people who can make a case for p4p number 1, then there is GGG, Crawford, Garcia etc

BTW, I have Chenko rated a distant #4 P4P. 11-1 against Paper champs fighting twice a year gives me nothing to rate him over Crawford, Garcia and Canelo (although I give anyone the right to hold the test failure agains thim.

UYSK belongs in top 10 for sure he doesn't not belong in top 3 IMO. but as far as CWs are concerned he is top 3 of all time already.

Still dont understand how Usyk beats the brakes off a very good fighter but nowhere near top 20 p4p fighter and jumps from most peoples p4p 8-10 all the way to #1.
