Williams lost to Quitanna a fight with them could have never happened.

Margo PBF fought Baldo and Oscar not to mention bob Arum admitted that PBF agreed to fight Cotto, Hatton and Margo but PBF also wanted a fight with Oscar which Arum wasn't willing to do but then again blame PBF.

Pac PBF agreed to fight Pac back in 2009 even with a 50/50 purse split but it was Pac who pulled out for testing to fight Clottety. Roach admitted in a video posted here that it was their fault the fight didn't happen back then because they didn't want testing but then again blame PBF.

 

Why have Showtime and HBO never done a cross promotion?

Yes Tszyu did lose to Hatton but in ***** land were you live that automatically means Floyd would have beaten Tszyu hence no need to fight him.

Floyd's resume at 140 is that of a top 20 fighter.

 

Golovkin will never attain the ATG status that Floyd has attained, but Floyd whilst an ATG fighter has the chance to become a true legend of the sport, a fighter who could truly be talked about in the same vein as the Duran's and Leonards.

But instead Floyd would rather fight McGregor.

Golovkin is Mayweather's Barkley or Hagler.

Zoo lost to Hatton and retired had PBF fought the Zoo that lost to Hatton you would simply say he fought an old zoo and discredit the win. PBF can't win with people like you.

HBO and Showtime only do cross promotion for mega fights. Tyson-Holyfield and PBF-Pac fit that criteria Zoo-PBF doesn't. Therefore a fight between Zoo and PBF could have never happened.:deal Got it?

Wasn't Tszyu champion in 2004? The same year Floyd fought Corley.

As for the fight happening it could have although as you say the companies concerned would have had to give way at some point. But even if the fight never came off Corley, Brussels and Gatti is a horrible run at any weight.

 

Just because fighters are on different networks does not mean it can't be made, might be a little more difficult but certainly not impossible.

No they wouldn't have. Neither fighter at that point were big draws. PBF didn't really become a big draw until he fought Oscar. There was not enough demand for a cross promotion for a Zoo-PBF PPV why do you continue down this path? It's not true. Cross promotions are done for mega fights Zoo-PBF was not a mega fight period.:deal

 

That fight didn't warrant a cross-promotion PPV it wasn't big enough.

PBF didn't become his own boss until he left Arum and beat Oscar. He was with Arum when he was at 140 he didn't call the shots he was B side to Gatti FFS.

 

As Pimp C mentioned, they're not going to do a cross promotion fight for 2 guys who aren't big draws.

Floyd always had ATG talent, but he was never a big draw at the lighter weights which is a bit unfortunate because if he was a PPV star back than, people would recognize how great he really was (especially before traversing through so many weight divisions.) At the lighter weights, the guy had pop to his punches and if he saw you hurt, he'd go for the kill.

Kostya was a helluva fighter in his own right but while he was at his ultimate peak, Floyd was still campaigning at 130 lbs. The timeline never fit as did the major hurdle of both fighters being on 2 different networks.

 

Their ingnorance is painful Pimp. Neither Zoo nor Floyd were PPV fighters so why the hell would there be a cross promotion. People forget Floyd was under Arum for the first 36 fights of his career so if they have a problem with a matchup not happening they need to be mad at Uncle Bob
