A fight between these two would have never been a cross promotion PPV and anyone following the sport back then would have realized it. I think these fools just started watching boxing about the time GGG got hot they weren't watching it back in 2004.
No but Duran win a world title at 38 at 160 despite starting his career at 118/ 119lbs. And whilst Leonard didn't beat Hagler af 39 he had both prime Hearns and Duran on his resume, all of FLoyd's opponents fail in comparison. You really need to educate yourself and stop being a floyd fanboy.
Maybe not but Floyd went through the 140 division without fighting a top 3 opponent. He was never the man at 140, he held a paper belt.
I agree and you wonder why I called him lineal in 4 weights not 5. With that said Hatton wanted no parts of pbf at 140 after he beat zoo. He turned him down. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
Didn't know Hatton did but he was stupid because he was perfect for 140. Just for the record Floyd made me some good money as I called it in the 10th when they fought. Said from the start Floyd has good power and is deceptively strong.
Thwe only fanboy is you GGG clowns. Floyd beat everybody worth fightin his era and displayed a level of longevity that neither Leonard nor Hearns could sustain. Its not Floyd's fought when he was in his prime at 130, their were no ATG's at that weight. Nonetheless he still destroyed a then undefeated HOF in Diego Corrales, a man who went on to win titles at that weight again after Floyd moved up. And Duran was a lightweight which means he started off a class heavier that Floyd who began at 130. But what the hell does any of this have to do with idiots daring a 40 yr old who has won titles in 5 different weight classes to be great, but not the coward who feasts on bums at MW and won;t even move up 1 class??
Pbf couldn't get Hatton in the ring at 140 but did he sit around and claim everyone was ducking him? No he moved up and chased zab up there at 147. Like I said earlier daring to be great. Greatness doesn't just fall in your lap you have to seek it. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
Negative Duran made his debut at 118 / 119lbs, got his first title at 135. And read all my previous posts, I couldn't care less if they fought or not as it's an easy victory for Golovkin. But if he's such easy work as Floyd thinks then fight him to prove it, at 154.
Oh yeah I forgot Duran turned pro at 16 when he was 118 which is something most American fighters don't do, but Floyd was 106lbs in the amateurs when he was 16 so you're wrong about all this Duran was smaller nonsense
