That Khan WILL BE HIS NEXT WORLD CHAMPION. Freddis says he has NO DOUBT about it. He knows what he talks about! Freddie has also seen all the sparring he's had with Pacman and seen a fast quality boxer! He is not ignorant to Khans flaws. The haters can scoff...they will never give Khan credit for anything...they will always say anything they can to discredit him. Yeah I know his chin is not good...but with careful work on his defense skills (which are already showing with the high guard) I think he will go onto win a world title at his weight.

You can always tell the haters - they only ever talk about his weaknesses - they never give credit for his skills and speed. But yeah time will tell.

He might win a title if there is a weak title holder or he fights for a vacant belt. He has some skill, he doesn't have a lot of variety in his attack, and the two time Barrera hit him, with one eye, he was rocked. He ain't elite level, and even if he does win a title, it'll be in the same vein as a Nicky Cook.

i don't think barrera really hurt him at all, one eye or not barrera was not going to beat kahn as he is passed his best as well as being a poor style match up for kahn.

He was rocked a little but he was in no trouble whatsoever...

And you talk like Barrera's eye has some kind of power generating ability...

He will win a world title if he sticks with roach and keeps learning and he will be a genuine world champion...

He will probably get caught and rocked, perhaps even Ko'd again in his career too but Barrera and pac are just two great world champions who have been Ko'd in their career...

All he needs is good defence and concentration at all times and he can overcome the chin issues...

People forget he's 22...there's much more to come from him...

He knows how the WBO works - if they can strip Marquez somehow, with Barrera ranked #1 Contender at 135 before yesterdays fight they could retrospectively class Barrera-Khan as a title fight.

Fwank Warren will be on the case shortly. :yep

barrera had one of the most irresponsible gameplans to win. He just was looking for a 1 punch KO. He had no rhythym at all and no plan B. He tried very hard to cut off the ring but Khans footwork was too good and his head work was good too.

Barrera hurt him, if only momentarily. Props to Khan, but he beat a past prime fighter with one eye. This isn't opinion - it's fact.

People are forgetting just how bad that cut was. You get a cut like that? All plans go out of the window.

Also, I wonder how much Khan's chin has to do with his weight. Maybe if he wins a title and moves to 140 than his chin issue will be less prevalent. Oscar de la hoya had similiar chin issues (without the rushing a puncher tactic Khan used against Prescott though) at 135 and young Hoya's and Khan's body types are similar at that weight.

I think Khan should rematch Prescott if he wants to keep on insisting the KO was an accident.

you also forget that the fight was pretty much the same after the cut as it was before, obviously blood in the eye makes it harder but why did barrera look as poor before the cut as afterwards.
