You thought? Well better think again . . . dude. :D

Challenge him for what? Floyd has no title and he is below Pac on the P4P rating.

    For what again???

Roach tried to get a fight with Void before the Cotto fight. Pac wanted to fight Void, not Cotto. Void refused to fight Cotto, Pac, Mosely, and Margarito.

Why should Manny be the one to challenge Floyd? If Floyd's button is someone issuing a challenge why hasn't he responded to Mosley's? He got shamed in the ring doing that interview, and all he can say is he ain't afraid of Shane. Even RA The Rugged Man punked him on that one, "You afraid of Sugar Shane, brother!" So what's up with that?

How would a beltholder at welter challenge a challenger?????

That is why they are called challenger because they are really challenger and floyd who does not hold any belt at the moment is asking Pac, a WBO welter holder to challenge him????

Floyd still thinks that the boxing world revolves around him similar to his statement that "boxing would be dead without me". fyi, BOXING WAS DOING MUCH BETTER WHEN YOU RETIRED. Now, the constant debate in ESB is whether you actually have balls to fight a legit welter or Packy, which I believe is a pathetic topic to begin with.

By the same token why should the beltholder and welter want to fight a welterweight at a catchweight? It's all just bull**** posturing by both sides to ensure favorable terms during the negotiations. If Floyd calls out Pac he looks like he needs the fight. If Pac agrees right off to fight at 147 then he loses a potential bargaining chip with nothing in return.

People here are pretty ****ing dense.

****ing dense??? Your IQ would not even be half of mine.

Your logic alone confirms it. The weight in the fight has nothing to do with the issue of who should challenge who!

If my IQ isn't even 8 I must be in pretty bad shape. Like i said, it's posturing. They are both going to make stupid demands to try and get the upper hand. I don't expect you to get it because...well...let's face it, you're slow, but it's 100% about leverage in negotiations. The purse split, the fight weight, who needs the fight more, etc.

You are really dense, try to separate the topics.

there are two topics being discussed:

    1. Who should challenge first ? Mayweather or Pac.

    2. (which was not even the topic to begin with as it was interjected along the way) the posturing or bargaining or whatever term you want it.

Those are two different topics and not interdependent of each other.

For starter, Pac might sayhe wants to fight Mayweather (which he did and was not actually a challenge) or more clearly do a Mosley which is a blatant challenge, or it could be the other way around, in which Mayweather would do a mosley or just say I challenge you Packy. That solved the first issue.

Now the second one is entirely different thing because those are the elements of the fight or the contracts of the fight which we are pretty sure would be scrutinized by each party to gain as much advantage as possible (normal again in boxing if you have been foloowing boxing e.g. ring size, gloves, judges, weights, venue, purse parity or disparity if you want it, etc etc. )

Now if packy would state that he will challenge Mayweather at 145, thats entirely different story.

Pac's promoter called him out. Pac does not usually call out fighter. He asks his promoter to do it for him.
