Jesse Reid, was considered. We are considering a deal to train in Santa Monica. Are you in LA?

He fought May 21st in Laredo in the semi. If we do this deal you are welcome to come by, the Wild Card West, in Santa Monica or at Abel Sanchez's in Big Bear. Two guys have been mentioned but at the end of the year, Mike Alvarado and Pedro Campa, 22-0,18ko's.

    ..👍 i would like to!..
So,right now your between making a deal with Abel Sanches or Wild Card West?..
Wild Card West would be just for your fighter to use the gym right?..or is there a good boxing trainer there?
..so you decided not to go with Jesse Reid at Power House Gym?

Chek out Lippe Morrison (Tommy Morrison's son).
    ..I hadn't seen him fight--
Very good 😉👍..still needs so much but-
Looks like hes on the right track.!
    ..well schooled (imo)--
Its pretty rare a son of a fighter to surpass father in boxing (theres only 2-3 that i know)..i think this guy will do it -if he doesnt get derailed --couldnt find who his trainer is.

...Say you have a good prospect in training..and you want to get him good experienced sparring partners--what is the average pay they get for sparring with your fighter?

    http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/trainer-jose-olivaritos-morales-passes-341331

I remember facing him twice in critical fights for my guy anyway. The first time was in Mexico City, he trained Julio Alvarez who fought my guy Jesus "Matador" Chavez for the NABF SF title, Jesus was also #1 WBC. Jesus won hard fought decision, next time was when Jesus, fought Eric for the title. Before the Eric fight we met with the officials to read the rules and pick the gloves. At that time the champ chose the gloves, today it's changed any brand gloves can be used. I knew beforehand that Eric had hand problems and wanted to use Winning gloves, I chose Reyes gloves. You should've seen "Olivaritos" reaction, "what? No way!". I had to remind him it was the champs choice. Anyway he got revenge at the fight, Eric beat Jesus by Dec. Jesus suffered a torn rotor cuff on his right shoulder, in the 2nd rd and from the 2nd til the 12th he fought Eric one handed.
It's sad he passed away so young, cos he was a pretty good trainer and we need trainers

P, we haven't had to pay cos we haven't reached that level yet. But it's coming, I would say, 1500 a wk, food included, plus travel and accommodations.
So most times you make do with what you have in the local area.

I think i asked you this question..i went back and couldnt find that post.
..How is it that Spinks got a shot at the championship title(against Ali)
With only 7 fights under his belt?!!
I know he won gold medal in the Olympics--but is that the only reason?..
..Can you do that with a great fighter-who didnt go to the Olympics?
..Is it possible to get him a shot at the championship belt with only a few fights?
..what needs to happen in order to get your fighter a chmp fight so early in his career.(just curious)
    Thnx...👍
