are there any rules limiting any fighter to gain more than 10 pounds after the weigh-in? if none, what they were doing are legal. it's not fair but almost everyone are doing this. jmm weigh 141 in his rematch with pac while pac weigh 145. guzman even weigh 148 against soto who was only 135 at fight night.

roach has already stated he will fight at 147 against mosley if the weigh in is on fight night. every humanbeing has their limits. pac is far far far far better than mosley and yes he wants to fight mosley but he doesnt want to give too much away which you have to respect as he is the P4P no 1. is that too much to ask.

the thing is, both barrera and pac are 130 fighters back then. soto, guzman and marquez are all 130 fighters. pac now is a 140 fighter. mosley is a 147 fighter. you cannot always ask a smaller fighter to move-up even if he is a great fighter. soon, he will reach his limit that even if he is a very talented guy, the size alone would work against him.

pac can prove his greatness in other ways than sacrificing size or weight. he can just fight the winner of floyd-jmm and it would be bigger of an accomplishment if he beats the winner of that fight.

 

If Shane fight Pac l47, it's definitely an advantage for Shane.
If Pac fights Shane in 140, it's definitely an advantage for Pac.
So, why not fight at a catchweight so as not to give undue advantage to any fighter. It's fair, isn't it? Shane is desperately seeking a fight for Pac and he is willing to go down at l42. So, what's your problem? I think you're stupid or just acting stupid.
