Well Margo was cleared of any and all wrong doing in that fight with Cotto, I believe that they video tape the wrapping of the hands in Vegas..

Plaster or no plaster, to beat Margarito ya gotta clinch, and Cotto doesn't believe in clinching... so either way he would have worn him down eventually IMO.

 

It was definately a legit loss, 100%. And I'm a big Cotto fan.

All of margarito's big win's should be put under scrutiny once a cheater always a cheater. It's very probable that Margarito used plaster on Cotto.
Only a rematch would settle things.

 

a rematch will prove how legit the loss was, but common sense tells u he cheated, but at The same time, it's innocent untill proven guilty, so we can question the loss, but we can't say he didnt lose, so as it stands right now Marg just had his number,....

A loss is still a loss.. It does make you wonder though.. It seem like later on in the fight, each punch was more effective than the one before.. We'll never know until we see a rematch between the two in the future..

 

Yes for 2 reasons.

1. There is no proof at all that Margo cheated in the Cotto fight
2. Plaster in your gloves does not improve your chin or punch resistance or stamina.

 

No matter how good you are if your getting hit with bricks your going to fold sooner or later.

 

It sure can hurt someone else's chin and stamina though..
