There are posters in this forum who think Mayweather will dominate Pacquiao in Gatti fashion, something absolutely ridiculous, considering that even this slightly faded Manny is many levels superior to the best version of Gatti.

Also, the Marquez comparison. Yes, Mayweather dominated him and Pac struggled with him, but what about all the other common oponents that Pac beat easier than May? (Oscar, Hatton, Mosley, Cotto) The only one who is questionable is Oscar because he shoudnt have dropped to 147 again. But you have to remember, it was OSCAR who cherripicked Pac, not the other way.

No one cherripicks Oscar De La Hoya. Even after his loss to Floyd, he was at the top of the food chain in boxing, in terms of business, so don´t come here with the "Pac cherrypicked Oscar" bull****. Everyone that followed boxing in the past decade knows Oscar was highly criticized for fighting a midget straight from the 135lb division, (and a former flyweight, for crissakes). People were calling the Oscar-Pac fight "child abuse".

When I compare the two, Floyd seems to have every advantage, except for age and experience. He has the longer reach, is a better boxer and has a better ring IQ. But Pac´s combination of foot speed, hand speed and unconventional angles and feints makes him incredibly confusing for 99% of his opponents.

That´s why I thing he has a chance. That strange behaviour Mayweather has showed in the last weeks? That´s precisely because he knows that midget is no joke.
