Actually Floyd kind of found his way out of the fight with Manny. Floyd was the one who always stated how easy of a fight with Manny it would be...that Manny isn't that good and over hyped....That he'd have his easiest and largest Payday if given the chance to fight him. Then all the sudden after knowing that He would be next in line to face manny decided to sing a new tune....Completely contradicting his FIRM stance of how easy it would be to outclass and dominate PAC by coming up with rumors about roids and PEDs. Which set up the demands for extra blood testing. How is that if Floyd....who is so confident in beating any version of Manny and who would offer him his easiest and most substantial Payday say PAC is on roids or peds and request demands that he had to know would be an obstacle in negotiations? A fighter who is as confident as floyd shouldn't nor wouldn't care what PAC is on b/c the fight is so easy...Double talk with regards to "wanting" to face Manny. The demands and allegations were the reasons for this fight falling through.
Watch all the floyd fans who talked **** to him non stop when he criticized floyd are going to be all over his nuts now like he "finally came around"
if floyd goes in there and gets knocked out i will still have more respect for him than if he simply pulls out of this fight, I can't give him respect for taking the fight until he is actually in the ring because I still think he may find a way out of it. If Floyd does indeed get in the ring with Mosley I have got to give him some credit though even if he was forced into it. Mosley even in his late thirties is one of the top most dangerous welters right now so its a hard fight against a top dangerous welter. People think we the so called haters of Floyd actually hate him, but I would venture most of us dislike the fact that he avoided all the prime winning welters of his generation. sure, he is an arrogant ass, but that would be easily forgiven if he was smashing all the top fighters. we don't hate floyd, we hate all talk and no walk, and since our hatred is based on REASON rather than an racism, as is a great deal of hatred of pacquiao in my opinion, I think you will see a lot of respect for Mayweather even if he loses vs Mosley, and if he wins, I doubt you will see us belittling Mosley as an opponent as the pac haters do to Cotto, Hatton and DLH, and even Morales in the second fight for christs sake, because we aren't always LOOKING for reasons to fuel a hatred based on racism, we have no need to SHIELD our racism behind boxing rationalizations, we want to see Floyd in there with the best. Sure Mosley may be a bit long in the tooth but if Floyd makes him look that way than that will be impressive.
Man these forums crack me up. If your beef with FMJ was that he ducked then would it not be "settled" with this fight? If you have a list of other reasonable matchups then put them out there. Usually the matchups that haters call for are literally impossible. A lot of you guys are stuck in a past that has a horrible Arum spin on it.
It's the fact that he was FORCED to take this fight. Before the haiti incident we were looking at Floyd vs a no one... or literally vs no one.
Nobody is forced to do anything. Pac took the fight against Cotto who DIDN'T want to fight at a catch weight versus taking the fight against Mosley who DID want to fight a a catch weight. Still, people like you don't understand facts and reasoning. Luke you post all over the place and 99.9% of your posts are just nonsense. You are not even worth dealing with.
