Floyd did give in to Manny's demands.....absolutely right. But Manny ain't spreading false rumors that would hinder his reputation without any evidence or validity to back up the claims. There is a direct connection between the demands and the allegations which hold no water. I wouldn't want to give into Floyd or anyone lieing on my name...especially if he was trying to make his biggest payday with my help.

Manny could have givin into Floyd's demands but that wouldn't have changed the fact that what was done is done. The damage to his rep, caused by Floyd and his family by making these false allegations are not easily undone. If Pac gave in, took the tests and beat Floyd....YOu best believe Floyd would have all the excuses in the world claiming Manny beat him b/c he somehow had special PEDs from his homeland that are undetectable to any testing methods......If he lost....it would be obvious PAC lost b/c he wasn't able to roid up due to the testing...If PAC moves on people will question what he has to hide....so PAC can't win anyway he goes.

My whole thing is "WHY"?? Why does Floyd want PAC to take any tests? He's been the one downplaying Manny for years. Talking all big and bad like he normally does and going through the motions like he don't need PAC, but PAC offers Floyd his biggest PAYDAY...BIGGEST LEGACY BUILIDING Opportunity and from Floyd's own mout....His EASIEST PAYDAY.

FLoyd is known for being cocky and confident....it's what I like about Floyd. He's got all the confidence in the world and believes in his own ability to the fullest. However.....it doesn't seem to be the case with Manny. He KNEW he was gonna face Manny next after the Cotto fight...He knew he was going to make his biggest payday.....and he knew the biggest obstacle was going to be the purse split. All that was squashed when they split everything 50/50.

The allegations came out of left field.....There was nothing to support the allegations but it laid all the ground work for the Olympic style testing demands. This is the first time they requested Olympic style testing....Tyson requested a single blood test for Holy after the fight...big difference.

Plus Floyd HAS NEVER, EVER acted this way. He's always been cool, calm and confident going into a fight and never asked for any kind of testing for anyone else.....let alone someone he considered a cake walk, over rated, over hyped, who can't box for ****, doesn't know how to fight...ect..ect..ect.. AGain....why is Floyd siging a new tune if he is so confident in beating Manny?

Floyd always talks **** and backs it up. Manny has NEVER said Floyd would be easy....>Roach has, but Roach always talks ****. Manny knows Floyd is a challenge and wanted to fight, but this is reallly out of character for Floyd....to come up with lies and to make requests for blood testing. The fight should have been made without the lies and blood testing demands.

Floyd did give Ricky props after the fight....then truned around in other interviews to completely trash him and down playing his ability as a fighter.

Manny could have taken the tests....but I don't think he wanted to give into the demands of Mayweather given the fact that he was the one who caused PAC's name to be in question....then have the never to spread the allegations and then demand the blood tests just to fight!:good JUST FIGHT! Stop with the bull **** excuses and fight the way boxing is set up.

Not that you don't have a very vaild argurement Rudy b/c like always you give me food for thought. I'm just not seeing as much fault on the side of Manny that I see on the side of Mayweather. I don't think I will on this one. But I do feel this fight has to happen especially if Floyd beats Shane like I think he will. Props to Floyd for taking this fight with Shane! ANd props to Shane.

We are in agreement on the terms of the allegation...I see your point on Manny not giving Floyd the payday from fighting him...Thats a no brainer there homie, but there is its down sides for Manny refusing to take the test...As you can see, people are starting to look at Manny as a cheater...I think I've been quite vocal on how I thought Manny wasnt doing anything illegal, but that still doesnt make me suspicious! At some point and time...fans are going to ask for this fight...and they want this fight ASAP...so Manny and Floyd will have to suck up the pride and give the fans what we desire...A MEGA fight!:yep

Reason being...if Manny would have took the test and beat Floyd...I seriously doubt Floyd could use that excuse given that Manny's test cameback clean and he beat him fair and square...If Floyd tried to use that excuse...It will get shot down with the passing of the test...Floyd will look like a fool if he tried to use that excuse...Fans would look at that as a cop out on Floyd's part.

I do agree with you that the damage has been done, but Manny could have killed the doubt by taking the test...Thats what I've been trying to say for the longest...Manny's team should have gave him better advice than what they're doing now...His advisors did a **** poor job on handling the situation...Anytime you have a team making false allegations on you, IMHO you should try your best to make them look like some damn fools...With Manny holding " I dont want to give into Floyd's demands" attitude, I honestly think he did more damage than he did good!

IMHO, I think Floyds want to ensure that Manny is clean...That shouldnt be nothing new dealing with Floyd...That nicca talks, cant do nothing about that! Thats true...Sr. was the first to drop the ball on Manny claiming he was doping...Sr. was on some more **** when he said that...I thought he was just talking **** about Manny, but with the series of flip-flop stories coming from Manny's team, those allegation became a big deal...Team Pacman and Arum actions kinda made Sr. allegations somewhat valid given that Manny refused a drug test to clear his name...I understand that Manny want to hold his pride and not subject himself to the olympic style test but again, with him doing that, he's lost fans in the process and the court of public opinion has changed drastically! Some are seriously starting to question Manny and his latest accomplishments!

I look at it from a different point of view...With the allegations going on surrounding Pacman...baseless or not...Floyd has the right to ask for a more stern drug test...I dont think it has to do with confidence or what not...More of ensuring that they are fighting a fair fight! Floyd's past opponents did have these allegations surrounding him...Baseless or not! So I personally dont see the big problem asking for an olympic drug test!

I havent heard Jr. trash Hatton after the fight...I could be wrong but from what I've seen and heard I dont remember him saying anything negative about Hatton...Now Roger has trashed Hatton before and after the fight!

Me personally, I cant really blame Mayweather for asking for the test...If he felt that Manny was doping why not clear the doubt to make sure he is telling the truth...Now a day, I seriously doubt people take others words to be truthful without any physical proof! As crazy as that might sound...its just the way things are in the world we live in!

Damn Rudy! Can't I make a point and think I'm smooth sailin? Nah.....but like I said homie I really do understand your point and you only gave me more to think about on this issue. BOTH definitly have a part in the collapse of this fight I just chose a side based on everything I heard and got the **** off the fence.

I know I'm hard on Floyd but that's becuase I honestly felt this fight SHOULD have gotten done after they got the purse split out of the way. Which I thought would be the cause of the fight falling out....I never guessed or thought things would play out like they did. But we got Shane vs Floyd out of this whole mess! That is a fight I'm very much looking forward to.

I think Floyd is gonna win.....the whole style match up favors that of Floyd. Shane will be dangerous throughout but I think Floyd's movement, jab and lead right are gonna be a problems with the way Shane's head is stationary.

The man is fast for his age and will give Floyd some problems but I just see shane winning and then making the fight with Manny. I'm sure they will make the MEGA FIGHT happen if both Floyd and PAC get past their oppoents which is NOT a given. Josh and Shane are two of the best WW's in the game. But good lookin out kid! I was about to start disliking him because of the way he's wasted the last two years, but he's fighting Mosley, so I'm happy and still a fan.

 

I am far from a "*****". If some sideways crap happens I would call Mayweather on it. Funny thing is though that Mayweather is consistent and pretty steady within the bounds of boxing.

As for being dumb, you *******s seem to have a reality filter on. It blocks out all of the conflicting BS coming out of Pac's camp and helps you guys make up BS excuses for him.
