When pacs broke in a few years he can sit there and think about all the millions he could of made on this fight.

I've always like Manny Pacquiao as a person. He's very easy to like. I commend him for his work in his province with the hospital and the fisherman. I admire the fact that he bought a house for David Rodela. These are things that I must give him credit for. I am not going to talk down on him as a person. As a fighter, I'll readily admit that I used to be a fan until they began the comparisons with Floyd. I've noticed the cherry picking because of his trainer's interviews. I've begin to despise him as a fighter when I noticed that he doesn't fight for the people. As a matter of fact, he seems to do things that would get the public pissed. Let's take this recent selection of his. Are you serious? He couldn't find a better opponent who doesn't need to be beaten by the scale? I would be pissed but I've come to expect this from him. I understand their method of madness. I hate it and I'm looking forward to the future.

25 million as opposed to 50-60 million?

OK, he can beat up two guys for the same price he can fight a guy who might beat him up.

and by the way I'm not advocating that logic.

Absolutely. The guy is supposed to be a politician, yet he hides behind the guise that his promoter is calling all of the shots and he has no say. The worst part is that people buy it and give him a pass.

meet the new president of the Phillipines: Bob Arum.

"I laid out four excellent economic proposals for Manny to choose for his little country. That he ultimately chose the one that involved using 100 million in taxpayer money to invest in real estate in Las Vegas is completely unrelated to my financial stake in those properties. He is his own man, President Pacquiao is."

I was a big Pretty Boy Floyd fan when we was coming up and at LW. Then the whole "Money" thing happened and, while I think hes a phenomenal fighter, I dislike his personality so much I can't support him. What I've noticed in all of his fights is that there is beginning to be a pattern to beating Floyd develop. Nobody has come in with all the tools yet, but it won't be long. He's not as untouchable as he once was. I thought the Ortiz fight, had it gone farther, would have exposed Floyd a bit more.

As for Pac, I was amazed watching him accomplish so much, even at catch weights. He was fighting tougher and tougher opponents and making it look easy. Then, with the music, the politics, baby scandals, super fame... I think he lost focus and it showed in his last fight. I think he expected to walk through JMM and Marquez came for life or death. Now, I think Pac is past his prime. He is still better than 99% of the guys out there, but he's not unbeatable.

Bottom line. I don't care if they ever fight or not. Sure, I'll watch it if it happens soon, but not in 2014 when one or both of them are over the hill and trying to cash in.

I'd rather watch JMM vs. Pac again and I'd rather watch Floyd vs. Martinez.

Yes, I agree, but in my opinion we shouldn't forget the history in which both share blame.

I stopped supporting his choice of opponents when he picked Mosley and then JMM (though I must admit I loved being wrong with JMM).

Still a fan of what he does in the ring, but unless he steps up and fight some genuine opposition, like say JMM AT LEAST, not someone he completely dominated already or some B-class fighter, I will stop supporting his legacy.

To me he is like FMJ nowadays: too much talent put to waste.

First of all stop pretending you were ever a Pac fan you ****ing ******. I still am a Pac fan, but I can see that he/Arum is the one stalling the fight right now. But that doesn't change the fact that Floyd was avoiding Pac for two years when he looked invincible. Pac has slowed down and everyone can see this, including both Pac and Floyd. This may be the reason why team Pac doesn't want the fight. To me Pac has lost his love for the sport. He needs to retire IMO.

And before you ***gots say I'm scared to see the fight cuz I think Manny will lose, shut the **** up. I want to see this fight, but I know for a fact that it will not happen. Floyd wasted two years running from Pac and now Arum/Roach/Pac probably don't want this fight anymore.

The bandwagon fans are jumping off, they don't stick it out during the tough times.

Loved Pac's style during his Blow by Blow days, and still loving his brand of boxing today.
