Yep, all true... I would not like to be a Pac fan right now... he can erase all this bad publicity by doing 1 simple thing, pick Mayweather as his opponent, even if he loses (I think he will) he will still go down as the 2nd best fighter of his era & a true warrior, if he picks anyone other than Mayweather, he more or less flushes his entire reputation down the toilet, a reputation that he has took years to build up... it will be such a waste, I hope he does the right thing.
I'm just going to say this: I'm a Pac fan, and there are other boxers, and other sports that I enjoy as well, so I'll come back when "it" finally happens, because I'm not interested in all this negotiation **** unless it somehow personally involves me (and it doesn't, so...), because negotiation is not a sport as far as I'm concerned.
nut:nut I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing... I guess it depends on the person's point of view. In my opinion if I was the Pretty One I'd prefer a different person. :smoke
IMO. they are both thugs, one is a real thug and the other one is a twitter thug. Shakur was laid down for his arrogance.
Tupac is a cultural icon. People all over the world know who Tupac is and his music without a doubt influenced an entire generation. I.e Cultural Icon. atsch I find Tupac overrated personally. So do all Native Filipino adults behave like children and cant make their own choices without some 80 year old man holding their hand? :rofl Pacquiao is the Phillipines version of a minstrel show.
Tupac aint nothing but another rapper and Pac aint nothing but another fighter. Theyer both entertainers and they entertain the american public. Tupac is dead and Pac wish he was dead cause the last thing he wanna do is take that ass whoopin Mayweather is trying to put on him. I will watch him fight but thats it.
i'll watch them because they are boxers and i support boxing. but are they must see fighters anymore? no not really. i'm not going to lose sleep the night before getting excited over their fights. if a friend invites me over to their ppv, i'll go. if not then i stream it or watch the replay.
That's a difficult question. I'll always like Pacquiao for the way he fights and for coming across as a likeable guy, but I suppose if he didn't fight Floyd for whatever reason, I would possibly lose interest in his career. That's not to say I would make a choice to stop supporting the guy, it's just a natural consequence of disappoinment in his choice of opponents. I don't know what's kept these guys apart and frankly I'm on the verge of not caring anymore. It's far more a slight on boxing as a sport than on either Floyd or Manny.
atsch The only "ass whoopin" the Pretty One puts on these days are "mental headcases" that have their hands down. And it still took him two punches to knock him out. In other words you're completely wrong. :hey:smoke
