Just saw Sam's training video and cannot believe his team has let him get this big a month away from the fight. Unreal. :huh He absolutely NEEDS to be at 240 or so. Period. He looks huge and I think that if Vitaly isn't completely washed up, Sam is not winning this fight. It hurts me to say that but I am an honest, realistic fan. I hope he gets in much better shape over the last 30 days but I have my doubts.
Come on,he is in great shape, training hard, eating just enough:2-3 pigs/day just to keep the weight down, training is going good 2-3 minutes of sparring,3 minutes of running. He is sleeping right...on the bed for 2-3 hours a day,he can easily go down to 270 lbs. Jesus Christ, the man is fat,Stacy McKinley is in better shape than him
I liked Peter before he fought Maskaev.I thought he was absolutely terrible against a 50 year old, slow ,plodding Maskaev.Unless he is in excellent shape Vitali will destroy him. Klitscho ko 7
Swedeone, the only way ANY version of Sam at ANY weight has a ghost of a chance, is if if Vitaly is completely washed up.
Well we can always hope that vitali pulls out and they can put david haye in with him instead and see the fat ******* knocked out :rofl
Sam passed his prime and it is increasingly difficult to be in good shape for him. Besides he already made a lot of money and he achived a lot more then he probably dreamed of. Fight with Vitaly will make him huge payday, I think deep inside he already don't care about winning.
Well you guys are dreaming...this is not going to be the Peter of the first WLAD fight. This will be a Peter who has learned to stay calm and fight behind the jab...he has learned some boxing skills, and actually slipped punches against Toney who he also learned how to exchange effectively on the inside from...he has learned to fight hurt and to pick himself up off the canvas when down...he has learned to keep his composure, and execute a game plan. He is no longer the green charging bull that WLAD faced, he's slightly heavier, smarter, and has gained valuable experience since then. Just the fact that Sam knows how to put his power into real combos now, is a problem for any opponent. VITKLIT will not be facing the Peter some are dreaming of, but he will be facing the best Sam Peter nonetheless...
Anyone remember during the Peter/Maskaev broadcast Manny Steward said he talked with a member of Peter's team and he told Manny that Peter had been sneaking and eating like 5 candy bars and a bag of potato chips in bed every night before he went to sleep? I Laughed my ass off at that. :rofl
You are talking about when he reminisced to the time of WLAD-Peter...and he said Peter doesn't do that anymore. ...and he said a few candybars, you are exaggerating.
He mentioned candy bars AND a whole bag of chips. I will have to get the exact quote I have it on DVD somewhere but I believe it might have been several candybars. BTW, by the looks at that training video he has not stopped doing it. :rofl :rofl :rofl atsch
You are posting this garbage with a straight face after seeing that video? Peter has 3 weeks left to train the last week there is very light preperation for the fight. If that video is not doctored any it looks like we are going to see a career high for Sam Peter just like Klitschko's past four opponents. :rofl
I'm not worried about the candy bars...iI actually believe 3 candy bars is agreater test than facing VITKLIT...f he can break down a Snickers Bar, he'll break the far more brittle VITKLIT.:thumbsup
