You seem to really like Peter. This not the first time a read that exact same post. I respect your opinion but...Alright this is not gonna be the Peter who faced Wlad? Who cares? The only chance for Peter was to land big, wich he tried. Now you think he can outbox the Klits? PLease...UNless you are saying we are gonna see the fine, technical, sweet science god we saw against Maskaev? Oh.

 

Vitali will be about the same age against Peter as Maskaev was at the time. Both 38 give or take a month or two.

 

Believe it or not, I think Peter has been told to come in with more weight, to hang with the big guy. More weight sometimes helps your chin, and can add to your power. But, if Peter is overweight because of not being dedicated and disciplined, then he is in bigger trouble than I thought.

I found these comments to be just as relevant in both places...I rarely if ever do that, but I felt the forum needs to be reminded that this happens every time Peter fights. We see some pictures, the posters freak out...and then he shows up to the fight about the same shape as always.

I expect the best Sam Peter to show up, if his corner is intact.

 

He always is overweight in the last 3-4 years but this time the extraweight is really making him slow,I'm really starting to doubt he will beat Vitali

 

You realize they brought in McKinley because Pops wasn't getting it done right? I love the way you are already alluding to excuses.

 

McKinley besides being a cool guy ain't that great of a trainer,he just tells him the basics,has nothing special,by the video he is in better ****ing shape than Petersatsch

Peter just seems to lack the character of a true champion. I hope Vitali puts him on hiss ass and then retires. The WBC belt has been held up long enough by BS and we don´t want an inactive Vitali with the belt. Let Virchis and Gomez fight for it instead.

 

Peter's people thought Pops was not prepared to train Peter after losing every round but 3 to Wlad so they brought in McKinley as an assistant to help fine tune him. He has improved the jab but other than that he is still throwing looping punches.

 

Vits an all around better fighter than Peter plain and simple. Vit by ko.
