Well considering Vit has always been a better fighter than Wlad i dont c your point. Peter was clearly beatn by Toney who was a former 160 fat past his prime fighter. Sayn he improved is being polite.
Sam Peter's weight has been my biggest concern over the last couple years, and it's starting to worry me. I think his new training team has helped and hurt Samuel, while his skills have improved, his weight and questionable training habits, has not. I just hope Samuel is taking Vitali serious, and isnt just counting on him making his 6 postponement/cancellation.
Peter is a fat slob. If he comes up overweight, I might root for the cheating steroid user, Brittley Quitschko.
So does that mean you also hate and consider, Briggs, Mosley, Toney, and Holyfield cheaters? As they all have used steriods.
I don't much of fan of any of them, either. I always make fun of Holyfield. I said the Fishnet's 2nd fight with Mosley would be a no-contest.
That's not right... Your chronology, among other things is incorrect. You come up with a postition and then throw out some BS to support your position. I've been working with you a lot lately, I hope you do eventually pick up better posting habits. McKinley did not join right after the WLAD fight...and your reasoning of Peter not winning a round without a KD to WLAD is classic for the "reason."...but you are not even operating in the correct time period. Pure KLIT-ite fiction (except for the score). Peter's "people" (as you say) brought in Jesse Reid, not McKinley...before the 1st Toney fight, which was three fights after WLAD...and Reid couldn't stay, he had a commitment to Tye Fields at the time. You should keep in mind that former World Champion Boza Edwards had already been there assisting Pops. ...here's trainer Jesse Reid on "Pops needing help..." "I dont really think Pops (Andy Anderson) needs any help, I think a lot of people have said that but after working with him, I found him to be very knowledgeable and very close to Samuel. I think he is doing a real go job, and after working with him for a couple of months, I think he picked up a couple or few things that can help him, but Im a real good friend of Pops, in fact I told him if he needed any help at any time that Id be happy to talk to him and help him." It was reported prior to the Toney rematch that Peter himself, had brought in McKinley to work with him and Pops. Worth noting however is that between the 1st and 2nd Toney fights Don King became a partner in Duva Boxing...I'm pretty comfortable assuming Don had something to do with it, since McKinley has a history with King fighters. Start telling the truth Rico...correcting you is getting old.
The heavier Peter is coming into this fight, the less of a chance he has at catching Vitali in all honestly. The heavier he is, the more you will see his punches coming. I personally don't even think he punches as hard as Corrie Sanders, because speed is power, and he just isn't that fast. The lighter he is, the more his odds go up in my eyes. He still doesn't have the power to hurt Vitali. As the old saying goes you don't lose your chin or power with age. You just lose your speed and agility.
McKinley was brought in after the Wlad fight I did not say "right after the Wlad fight". The Wlad fight was a wake up call to team Peter about his skill set. It was and still is abysmal. You quoted Jesse Reid (a very good trainer by the way) he said "I think a lot of people have said that but after working with him" so people were saying Pops needed help mainly Ivalo Gotzev and McKinley was brought in Jesse Reid confimed this in your quote above. Peter looks to be coming in at a career high for Klitschko and if he does there will be no excuse as his "team" who you have often alluded to is intact which you have begun to try and hint at excuses before the fight. If Vitali makes in into the Ring he knocks Peter out. I would be very concerned with Peter's conditioning.
Why can't you ever admit anything...??? Your claim was that as a result of the WLAD fight McKinley was brought in...he was brought in four fights later. End of story. Reid said people were wrong for thinking Pops needed help, he squashed that before Toney I...McKinley came in at Toney II. A simple "my bad" would suffice.
Suge, the Wlad fight was a disaster for Team Peter. Peter knocked Wlad down 3 times and still lost on the scorecards 114-111 across the board. Other than the knockdown rounds Peter did not win a single round. I remember I was a member of M@x Boxing at the time and they had a video of the post fight press conference. I have never seen a team of people in such disarray. Ivalo was blaming everyone under the sun for the loss, Anderson had no answers, Duva was going nuts. The reason was because Peter has ZERO skill. For sure you do not thiknk the Baby Klitschko fight was a success? Changes were made BECAUSE of that fight. Peter and his team were made to look like fools, they thought the fight was going to go 3 or 4 rounds. It is a fact that changes were made in Team Peter because of DOUBTS about Pops Anderson and his teaching ability Jesse Reid even admitted it in the quote in your previous post. Why were changes made post Wlad? Was it because Peter put on a display of Boxing never seen before? No. It was because he was essentially shut out in a fight by a guy with no confidence and a Glass Jaw. I will also ask you to stop making pre-excuses for the fight as Peter's Team is indeed intact so that has no merit and since Peter has already been training for 5 months there is no excuse for him to be out of shape.
Again, you speak on Peter's corner like you know something, but I'm sorry you do not. Pops' gameplan prior to the WLAD fight... “We want to make him fight. We don’t want him holding and grabbing and that type of thing. We want him spending himself, so Sam is really working on getting in tip-top shape because he wants to go in and make this guy work.” Unfortunately Wlad was "holding and grabbing." When a 6'6" 245lbs man is solely using the "Jab & Grab" to gain a victory, all Peter could do was drop him as many times as he could...it was 3 that night. KLIT Jabbed and grabbed and ran all night. Peter did walk away with a moral victory, although he lost the fight...KLIT held all night and fought sacred. After the fight Peter's career was still promising due to his bouncing Wlad up and down off of the canvas, and keeping him running. Not only that, he was GREEN. Well if changes were made because of that fight, why did they wait so many fights to make the changes...simple, it wasn't because of that fight...and before we get to far away, lets remember that originally you said McKinley was brought in because of what happened in the WLAD fight.:rofl KLIT and his team were made to look like fools, WLAD got dropped three times by someone they said struggles with "B-level boys" I will no longer post quotes for you, if you reject the meaning...and spin it only for your position...the quote said nothing of what you summarized. There were no "doubts of his teaching ability." The quote said it was thought (erroneously according to Reid) that Pops "needed help.".... requiring assistance, and lacking ability are two completely different things. How old are you...??? You foolish KLIT-ites fail to see that the world does not revolve around KLITschko. The change you were originally referring to, though you've tried to gradually shy away from is that McKinley was brought in because of the WLAD fight. That is blatantly false, McKinley was brought in prior to Toney II, FOUR fights later. If you want to jump over to Reid (who I brought up), he came in prior to Toney I and didn't stay. That was THREE fights after WLAD. What you as a KLIT-ite fail to understand is that these changes were made POST-TONEY. Again KLIT-ite, I am rejecting the "weight argument"...if I wanted an excuse, I would look no further. The observation that Peter needs his Post-Toney corner is not an excuse, it's just a belief in Peter's need for the team who made adjustments to his game Post-Toney I. :deal
Suge, why would Team Peter make changes to fight: Julius Long :rofl and Robert Hawkins? :rofl those were his 2 fights post Wlad. They brought in Reid to fix some things and as you say had to train Tye Fields :rofl. The Klitschko fight was a disaster for Team Peter and so will this one. You said NOBODY in team Peter said Pops Anderson needed help. Well Jesse Reid proved you wrong in the quote you posted. It was Jesse's opinion this was not true but even after he left they still brought in McKinley to help. Why? Why bring in ANOTHER guy to help after the first one left? Jesse Reid answered that for you.
It worries me too and always did. This isn't the first time Peter does this, if you look at his fights before you will notice that he comes in good shape for some fights and for other fights he comes overweight, this has been the case even before he got this new team. If he takes this lightly and comes overweight then I have no idea what other fight will he take seriously, it's the older brother of a man that beat him and he looks to avenge the loss and by coming in 100% against Vitali he proves he wants Wladimir more than anyone else, he has no reason at all to take this lightly and I hope all of this changes during the weigh-in.
