as for me, I have more stories about how I am an obsessive fan compared to the average man.

Heres my latest one though to confirm I am an utter boxing maniac of the highest order...

Going home withe the missus with our shopping, we are having a random conversation. She says 'Believe me' & within an instant, I am replying in a brummie accent "believe you me" whilst laughing at my own Richie Woodhall impression, & when I explained to the missus? She laughed and understood, cos she knows what a boxing nut I am...

If doing random Richie Woodhall impressions with heavy bags of groceries in each hand to a missus who doesnt even know who Richie is isnt the sign of of a true brit boxing obsessive, what is?:deal

 

I bet you told her what a "Jock hater" Richie is as well...

 

Funny you should say that Mr Inspector, as I was having a boxing conversation with a fellow boxing fan, who remembered Richies commetary when he was covering Kenny Andersons gold medal am fight(which I never watched, as I hate am boxing)
& with Kenny behind on the scorecards in the last round, my mate told me that Richie was well pissed off until Kennys late rally sealed the gold.

However Wallet, no-one is perfect & I think Richie is the english Jim Watt TBH, they can be good when they want to be, but all too often let their paymasters rule their heads.

I no I'm an obsessive boxing fan because....

When I was ill recently I couldn't sleep. So I did a mental timeline of the HW championship (Johnson loses by KO in the 26th to Willard etc). Thing is, when I got to Frazier, I started to get tired. But I couldn't mentally tune off until I finished the timeline. Every time I drifted off, it was like 'and then Lewis became champion after Bowe through the belts aside'
