I am amazed out how Golovkin can be such a force at 36 years old

normally only defesnvie fighters have the longevity but Golovkin is a attacking one yet looked sensational in his last fight

No one will do what Golovkin did to vanes knocked him out without even trying and at the age of 36

Golovkin is a great champion, but knocking out less than B level fighters is nothing to be amazed about.

He hasn't been hit that much tbf. Monroe, Brook, Jacobs and Alvarez got him with a few good shots.
Stevens also clocked him. Who else is there? Ouma?

Golovkin has not taken that much punishment at all. When did he ever have to go to war?

When fighters like Ward retire at 33, and you have this guy fighting guys half his age at 37 years old. It really puts things into perspective just how unbelievable he is as an athlete.

It's a testament to his dedication, will and fortitude to keep on battling on in spite of so many setbacks with other fighters letting him down.

It is a bit impressive. However he didn't become pro until age 24, and his level of opposition has been relatively easy for the vast majority of his career.

Take into account he had around 400 Amature Fights....to be still going OK at 36 is not a bad effort...Have a friend who has seen him at Big Bear he said He is the hardest Trainer He has ever seen...you just wonder what sort of Motor he must have....

When Floyd schooled Pac he was so shot his body and hands were like Sam Jackson's from Unbreakable.

Yeap. I wonder who the next opponent will be. Maybe they’ll remove SRR’s corpse from his grave and then Triple will get out of this world credit when GGG beats him via KO3. Then by his fans standards, that would make him the GOAT. How much lower can we go from a guy off the couch with a two year layoff coming off L’s.

I dont know whats worse, how bad the joke is or the fact you think a Corpse would last longer than Vanes.

His longevity has to be respected.

He looked great at the weekend. But we can't have it both ways.

Was he faded when he fought Jacobs and Canelo, or would they always have caused him a lot of trouble?

i dont know about lots, but the amount that they did cause, is consistent with what A level fighters would do against an A+ level talent. i think from here on out, jacobs is 50/50 and canelo beats him.

If he's not doing any PEDs he should fall off a cliff and start losing soon. But the thread starter is incorrect. Defensive fighters don't last longer. Duran lasted a decade longer than Whitaker.

He didn't look faded this time. Has to do with the opponent.
