I am aware that most heavyweights are bums and over rated but. . . .

. . . .are there any that are credible and if so should they just fight each other all the time round robin? (please do not include David Haye as credible).
I ask boxing forum experts because the average age is about 25 years old and though never gloved up and stepped into know more about the sport and the business of it than anyone ever (except perhaps Donald Trump). . . . .just asking.

Two 230-300 pound men fighting it out in a box is not easy, even for "bums". Heavyweight division is the hardest because it's the close you can get to a street fight in a sport besides MMA. You can't drain your opponent, he can be as tall and as heavy as he pleases and any punch can be your demise.
The lower weights are great but the results can be determined before the ink dries on the contract.

Anyone who steps up and puts the gloves on, regardless of ability should not be labelled a "bum".

Those who do, don't appreciate the sport, and should STFU.

thats dumb. reminds me of those people that cry about calling a soldier a coward, claiming that putting on a uniform takes guts and is never a coward. ive known plenty of cowards in uniform, just like theres cowards and bums who box.

Fury, Wlad, Parker, Ortiz, Wilder and AJ all fighting each other to determine who is the ultimate champion

    That works for me.

    First stage:

    Wlad vs AJ
    Parker vs Ortiz
    Wilder vs Fury

Haye is better than Parker at the moment and probably wilder because he continues to struggle with guys not on Hayes level too!

I don't think it's the same. Most people go into the military because they can't do anything else. I'm a veteran and I couldn't get out fast enough. So many idiots in the military. It bothers me anyone is labeled a hero for just being in the military. Let's keep the phrase hero for true heroes. The hero propoganda is by charities like wounded warrior who keep almost everyting for themselves.

The likelihood of making money in pro boxing is very little. It's a passion you must have to want to be pro. I wouldn't call any of them a bum.

that was a large part of the point im making, nothing is the same across the board for either group. ive been around situations that required numerous men to show what they are truly made of, and some men come up way short. guys like camacho jr or ortiz have showed cowardice imo, regardless of how much passion they had to turn pro. so now it becomes a matter of what a bum means to you, because there are lots of pros that cant really fight or have weak hearts when compared to the large majority. saying no boxers, or soldiers for that matter, are cowards, is naive at best.
