UFC are walking a very dangerous path. They seem to be following the the WWE logic.Too much is too much. The WWE is doing horrid ratings now and it is doubtful they will ever return.Sure, the matches have something to do with it but so does the over saturation of the product.UFC beware, where there is smoke there is fire!:good
at least im not the only one. All these Ultimate fighters and **** like that, the presentation and the same ****ing faces derides the fact that they are putting on big fights. the whole thing from the nicknames ( 'Sugar' Rashad Evans? how the **** did he get that?) to the heavy metal / suburb martketing ploys and the constant b list celebrities ( Michael Clarke Duncan ) is leaving a bitter taste in the mouth. They should get more serious, its too chesy and played out, thats all im saying.
But I still really enjoy MMA, and while boxing has been better lately, it's been a downer at times, too. That's why I watch both sports. When one is lagging, the other is usually doing pretty well. I enjoyed MMA more over the course of the last few years, but the last few months have been more "boxing" months for me. Ever since Cro Cop got KTFO and my boy Miguel Cotto pwned Zab Judah it's been that way
