Lol run and clinch all night, SK did his fair share of initiating the holding and Ward was wonderful with his comeback grinding down SK with excellent bodywork....your boxing IQ is simple that's all I can say. I lost bit of cash in this fight I leaned towards SK 55/45 but what I witnessed from ward after being hurt and dropped defined what I love about boxing. It's depressing reading the comments here everyone is sour instead of focusing on the beauty of the fight...it was amazing, a wonderful representation of the art.
He showed mastery of distance and timing if u believe wardtards. Such as here... http://makeagif.com/i/pL4cGN
Yet you still show major interest by posting on a boxing website you enjoy punishing yourself? My advice, drop your personal biased and watch the fight twice from a SK fan perspective and do the same with Ward and then tell me if a legitimate argument can be made for either guy. Swinging two or three rounds in way or the other can give you the results. Ledermans card was awful and normally is pretty bad yet those who thought it was a robbery felt lederman was spot on....that within it's self isn't a good barometer.
I wonder if you guys thought the fight sucked while watching it, or did you come to the conclusion that it sucked after the decision.. I wonder during the fight did you think Ward was 'running' and clinching too much, or did you come up with that after he won... Boxing is entertainment for the fans.. If you think this 'killed' boxing because of the decision that you didn't agree on I'd crazy.. If you had fun watching it, you wouldn't stop watching because your guy didn't win... We all know Kovalev has power and you call Ward 'feather fisted' so why would you or anyone including Team Kovalev think Ward would put himself in position to get hit? Him 'running', or moving to boxing fans, was his gamelan to not get hit with a big shot, which he for the most part did the whole second half of the fight.. Kovalev was tired, taking body shots, and didn't use what he's known for, his power, for almost the whole fight after 3.. It was a close fight....
How can you see two words, quote it, and don't read them? lol I'm a go on a limb and say if you can read, that would be almost impossible...lol
