    you are a moron
holyfield has a career that is legendary. and you are gonna pick out 1 fight where he looked like crap and compare him to anyone of these ass clowns today? last time i checked, holyfield was knocked out 3 times in his prime like Wlad. Last time I checked, he didnt ever quit in a fight becaue he hurt his shoulder , like Vitali did. Evidently you just started watched boxing recently, and no jack **** about any of the guys you mentioned from the 80s. You bring up how bad a fighter looked at the end of his career (bowe)
Timo Hoffman? u should be banned for bringing his name up with Frank Bruno, Witherspoon, Thomas or Weaver. Dude has never beat a top 10 guy EVER and loses to people like Frans Botha. nice try douche bag hater :nono

thats a stretch.....oneil bell? Jirov? Mormek?
not only washed up cruiserweights, but inactive and nearly 40 year old blown up inactive cruiserweights....i see nothing interesting about those guys

jirov- 3 fights in 4 years
mormek- 7 fights in 7 years
bell- 3 fights in 4 years

not sure what it is, why people dont want to fight.....

while on subject of boxers who dont box in

Steve Cunningham- 2 fights in 2 years

Guillermo Jones- hasnt fought since winning WBA title 14 months ago...no fights scheduled as of today
Wayne Braithwaithe- 3 fights in 3 years
Firat Arslan- 2 fights in 2 years
    and for good measure
Zsolt Erdei- 2 fights in 2 years...now fighting for cruiserweight title this month

    Dear Intentionalbutt,

    Kind regards.

I like The Kingpin myself, and wish him well against Vitaly. I neglected to mention him because I think he just has not had the quality fights to preapre him for a man who is one of the two bet in the world. I just have the feeling that he is going to be there with Peter and Arreola, having leanred a lesson.

But you are correct, it was a bad ommission.

    Yours Thankfully,

    Cachibatches.

Sorry, division still sucks. Adamek and Haye do nothing to better it, especially after the snoozefest Haye put on.

There were bad fighters in the 80's. Tucker and Thomas were druggies for example. Americans say its bad because its white dominated and soviet. We're waiting for the Great American hope.

Obviously, you must be quite old and your memory doesnt serve you as it used to be:D

Bruno was a stiff black British robot who would get his ass kicked even by present b heavies like Sam Peter or Vladimir Virchis.

    Thomas? Weaver? Pah!

Witherspoon? Decent heavy in a weak heavy weight era where therer was no competition from fighters from the countries of the former soviet union.
Fighters from the former soviet union would have dominated the heavy weight scene as they do now if they had been able to turn pro.
Even nowadays quite a lot of good fighters in the countries of the former soviet union dont turn pro due to lack of possibilities whereas limited American fighters like Ray Austin can earn decent bucks due to their passport.
Lets be honest most the American heavies were crap 20 years ago!
The USA has never been a dominating force in boxing.Yes,the USA has the money, the tv channels, the capital, but the best fighters of this planet stem from other regions.
Have a look at the amateurs: Russia and Cuba have been dominating boxing for ages. The USA?
Even my tiny Belarus beat the "mighty" American national squad when they met each other last time.
Pah! You are a delusional American poster who has been led into thinking by American propaganda that American heavies from past decades were great warriors.
They were not that great. They had good luck that they didnt have to compete with Russian and Cuban fighters at the pros.Otherwise, they would have gotten their right position in the rankings, which was not at the top of league:yep

Pala is a good, tough, and basic fighter, but he will never catch any world title . Too small, lacks firepower, and too one-dimensional.
Anyway! I like him and will root for him! A very likeable fighter from the Czech Republic!:good
