I am more skeptical of Khan now.

My reasons are his seemed technique was sloppy he lacked the snapping motion he kept dropping his hands his defence was terrible.

he was constantley getting tagged by the left hook and even malinaggi could punch through his defence.

I'd be in dream world to see him vs Ortiz

I know khan beat im in the amateurs but now i think Ortiz could detonate on him at will.

Khan doesn't normally fight like that. He knew he could walk through Paulies punches but you are correct in that he was sloppy but only cause he knew he could get away with it. He's a good learner and can adapt to the opponent.

I do agree I did notice a bit of sloppyness but I think it was because Paulie was so akward and hard to hit. I'm not suprised.

    Wow.
    You guys are really digging.
Who lands that often and that hard on Paulie?

You guys are setting up a standard no one could live up to.

Juan Diaz, N'dou, Hatton, Ngondjou, and Cotto landed as often and as hard on Paulie as Amir did.

YEah, people forget that Paulie is an average feather fisted boxer that made a name for himself for surviving the Cotto fight, I mean comon he lost to ****ing Ngondjou(he robbed him).

Exactly, then when you think about it that Friday night, Julio Diaz, the same one Juan Diaz took out, outboxed the hell out of Ngondjou, but that Paulie stole a fight from him, it just further lets you know that Paulie isn't ****.

Don't get me wrong, it was a solid win for Khan but I still want to see him against someone that actually poses a threat, Paulie has always been
a one handed fighter, the only thing he got is his jab and maybe his hook, after Khan neutralized his jab, there was nothing else he could do.

Well I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree, there is nothing solid about Malinaggi, he is a journey man/ club fighter who only gets exposure because he is a guido from NYC, if he was from Cleveland no one would give a **** about his ***** ass.

The man went life and death with ****ing Juan Diaz at 140, Juan Diaz the 135 fighter with no punching power, and you want to give any true 140 fighter props for beating Paulie, **** that.

    ....nah..

    props... outboxing Paulie deserves it.

the momentum of the fight would certainly be different if paulies shots had a little more pop to them.

Yet only Hatton was able to TKO him (like Khan).

IT would have been better for his life if he had let Cotto TKO him instead of breaking his ****ing face and whooping his ass for 12 rounds.

Either way, Paulie never has had a great defense and has always been open to being touched by anyone that throws. Ngondjou beat his ass and N'dou did as well, Juan beat him the first fight and was able to touch him at will in the 2nd fight.
