I am no longer a fan of Paul Williams

PTP is a come forward offensive fighter that regularly produces entertaining scraps. Sure he is flawed in a number of way but never ceases to stimulate action when he's in the ring. Win or lose, I'm a fan of his warrior style.

 

Still a fan of Paul. Just not his handlers. People forget he beat Sergio Martinez the first time. He also beat Margarito in his prime. He's not perfect. But the man brings it.

 

buncha haters on here.....I'll always like Paul, he's a warrior with mad heart. He's limited but blame his trainer, Pauls not the brightest but dude is a good guy with lotsa heart who always gives his all in entertaining fights.....he'd still beat some good names who aren't southpaws or slicksters.

 

Many of you sound like a carbon copy of the HBO commentary for Williams - Lara. If no one had ever said anything about Williams retiring most of you wouldn't even be thinking it. Make up your own ****ing minds you mindless drones.

 

No worse than the twattish ****s who ignored all his flaws and then get bitter when people say "I told you so."

His style is so flawed. Fights like a midget despite being a skyscraper.

But he fights!!!!!!!That is more than what some fighter do and you can not fault them because he is flawed. He does not potshot, which is what probably would be very good for him but it would lead to a boring fight. Bpxing afterall is more then "hit and not get hit". In the end of the day, it is supposed to be ENTERTAINMENT. And that is why I like Margarito, Valero, Pac, Maidana despite their flaws - they fight!

I just did not get the part that defeating him is so great because he really is an accident waiting to happen.

 

You're both ****ing idiots for thinking that I'm some sort of Ishida fanboy or that such a thing even exists. The avatar isn't to show off Ishida, it's to slag off Kirkland for being the Glass Jawed Disgrace of the Year in getting KOed by a feather fisted fraud of a fighter like Ishida.

 

I hear you, but your reasons suck!! Paul Williams has fought whomever was put in front of him and as a consequence has been in his fair share of wars; skills aside, this guy is a warrior and has unquestionable determination. With Paul it's more a case of the mind is willing but the body says no.
