I am not buying all this hardball playing game. The fight will happen for sure.

All of these crap are nothing but just to hype the fight more. With little time left to prepare for a fight with this kind of magnitude, you need all the hype and press interest you can get to help promote the fight.

You do not spend 9 hours of mediation and negotiation if the point of contention is only about "24 days or 14 days cut-off" only to announce at the end of the meeting that no deal had been reach due to disagreement on the cut off window.

It's fishy if that's the only thing they contested since every aspect of fight deal has been hammered out already.

Let's celebrate folks! Floyd and Manny will agree to a mutually agreed cut-off window and they will make the fight happen.

Greed will intervene with the help of TopRank, GBP, HBO and MGM. Too much money at stake for it not to happen.

Bull**** logic we've been hearing for weeks. It's like companies are too big to fail. It's garbage.

    I agree.

I'd let Mayweather take 6 pints of my blood on the day of the fight for $25 million purse!

Its probably all part of the marketing strategy.

We'll be paying through the nose for this fight!

Until Floyd or Manny signed up for another fight, the fight will happen. Pac vs Clottey was announced but manny hasn't signed yet for that tiff.

There's always a chance the fight will happen.

I'm not buying it. This fight didn't and doesn't need any hype, and anyway, how would they be in cahoots with something like this? "Okay Pac, I'm gonna accuse you of taking steroids, your gonna threaten to sue me, and then I'm gonna call you a punk ass......"

I would be very surprised if this fight happens. Floyd can make money regardless and couldn't give a rats about legacy, and Manny doesn't seem that bothered either. Both could go their separate ways and not give it another thought imo.

Why did the mediation take 9 hours then?

By summertime there will be 50 or 60 mill on the table. July 10 always looks better for a mega fight than march 13th. We might just be getting the hype machine with all this stuff. They will prolly fight in the summer

Probably stuffing their faces with doughnuts or something for the most part, with about a couple of hours of serious talk.

I do agree nine hours is a bit much but I don't think it proves anything either way, or arouses suspicion.

    I sure hope so.

I don't think either camp was that thrilled about a March 13th date and want to build this up to later in the year. They couldn't delay it a couple months to May, or June, because of Pacquiao's political campaign.

If Pacquiao fights Clottey that's a huge risk that could hurt the probability/profitablity of Mayweather-De La Hoya. Hopefully Mayweather will do the same and face the Berto-Mosley winner. If he goes on and fights Malignaggi or Hatton, then I hope it bombs and Floyd deserves to lose a lot of his fanbase for such a pathetic fight. Floyd's already wasted two years and he's in a position where he's popular enough to get any fight he wants, no longer on the outside looking in.
