Given the abysmal state of the Heavyweight Division even modest talent goes far... That said, I like Eddie's skills...fast hands, good punching skills...I wish he'd move his head more and not rely so much on that stationary, high guard. Wish he'd loosen up his hips more. At just over 200, he's gonna have quite a task with the K brothers.
Agreed. Eddie Chambers is doing everything right. He showed he has dedication by getting down to 205 for his last fight where he looked sensational against top 10 opposition. Nice guy outside of the ring, very fast hands, and silky combination's. I like the guy, and I wish him luck.
What more do you want? The guy has proven that he's a legit contender. He's not going to beat the Klitschkos, but he's done just as well as any of the other top guys in the division recently.
He doesn't have much power, but you can't knock down a big hw like Dimitrenko with one punch if you have zero power.
If his goal is to dominate a division, sure. But if the goal is to get more exposure and money, then he should stick to hw, as the above poster suggested.
Agreed. These guys aren't fighting for our entertainment they've got to make the money while the opportunity is there.
