What pathetic posts on Chambers being "Hyped". No one is hyping him, chambers has been doing what he needs to in the ring. He is the most deserving contender out there at the moment there is no debate in that statement.

Is he Tyson reborn? Of course not, no one says so, who is hyping him? Chambers just happens to keep winning against good competition and has as of right now earned his shot at fighting Wlad.

Not many people will give him much chance and I agree it is a tall order to fill seeing as how Eddie isnt a power puncher. He isnt going to do worse than Chagaev though count on that.

If anyone sees a much better heavyweight contender please speak up.

id like to see eddie fight chris and have the winner challenge a klitschko. instead of having wlad beat the **** out of eddie and vitali knock chris through the ropes

Rumored to be fighting Golota. Unconfirmed. I've been calling BS...

arreola will definitely help beef up his resume before either klitschko shuts him down. he really is the most credible challenge to the brothers other than povetkin and i don't really rate either of them with a realistic shot.

Neither of these guys have anything more to prove to anyone. If you dont want to see these two fight the Klits who would you rather see? David Haye, we saw how that turned out. Povetkin? He already pulled out of his fight with wlad and seems well keen on delaying it as long as possible.

Just who else in the HW division do you see fighting for a title?

Eddie's done enough to earn his title shot and the payday that comes along with it. Although he came up short vs Povetkin, he's taken care of business vs a number of other potential contenders since about that time and looks to be peaking at the right time.

I think it's easy for people to try and find a way to knock him because they look at Chambers and the Chris Byrd fights vs Wlad and see that fighters like Eddie typically don't trouble him. So, they want somebody who matches up better on paper to get the shot.

But at the end of the day, the styles matchup matters less than if the man earned his spot to begin with. Eddie has. And who knows? He just might make things tougher on Wlad than we've seen lately and what people are expecting. If he gets knocked out, he still deserved his chance to try for the title.

Yet he beat Derric Rossy, Dominick Guinn, Calvin Brock, Samuel Peter, and Alexander Dimitrenko. Those boxers can box and punch, not to mention he's currently the #1 American heavyweight.

You missed the part where I said, "I don't see him beating someone who can both BOX and PUNCH"!

I would favor him against most heavyweight besides the Klitschko's, actually I would favor him against any heavyweight besides the Klitschko's. I think you're underestimating his skills and talent. I like his peek-a-boo/high guard defense, it's rare these days for heavyweights that are as skilled as Chambers.

Chambers is a volume puncher. Vlad is a boxer/puncher who is not only big, but very strong, skilled, great defense and great offense. Vlad by knockout.

Chambers isn't a world beater, but he is a solid boxer with very good boxing skills. He has quick hands, good D and all the tools to be a very good fighter, but his style just doesn't fit against a Klitschko.
