Maybe not, I think his fight Vs. Clottey is going to be the eye opener...
People will be looking extra hard now.
He got the Mosley fight, But now this fight being 116-111...lol
I think peep's are aware now.

I don't feel like getting into big arguments over it as I am a big fan of Miguel Cotto, but I now firmly believe Pacquiao would stop him. I'll take an avatar bet with anyone on it. Miguel is a great fighter, but his defence just isn't good enough. Pac would land too many shots and be too difficult for Miguel to pin down. Even at 147, I am convinced Pacquiao could do it.

IMO but it seems just like when one judge would almost always seem to score a fight for Oscar whether he was actually winning or losing!

I'd favour pacquiao to UD cotto, but these days you dont know what to expect from pacquiao. One thing to remember though and it was evident from yesterdays fight was that in terms of skill, cotto and clottey were not on the level of PBF and Manny which means they can be beaten convincingly with the right gameplan. I'd like to see pac cotto then assuming pacquiao beats cotto, pacquiao vs mayweather for the p4p sweepstakes.

I agree. I was like 50/50 before last night, but I favor Pacquiao now as well.

How about Pac/Cotto then if PBF beats JMM he fights Mosley and the winners face off? I think that would be a very good scenario!

Yeah bro it happens.. But for some reason not in the Trinidad fight, Where Oscar was doing the same thing Cotto did the last few rounds..

But yet.. one was "Boxing" & the other was "Running"...I don't get it either.
(I wonder if it has anything to do with shady promo's?)

Yeah I dunno. I know that if a round it close I am going to score for the guy that is walking the other fighter down. Clottey landed a lot more clean shots anyway.

Pacquiao vs. Cotto on 17 Oct 2009!

To make it even more exciting, no catch weight! Fight at WW-limit of 147-lbs but weigh-in at the ring so that both men CLIMB THE RING AT THE SAME WEIGHT!!

As for Mayweather, too bad Calderon did not win last night!

If Cotto takes a fight as early as October, after a grueling match last night and suffering a horrible cut, I say he is either crazy/delusional or the man has, (cant believe I'm quoting Farmboxer here) "Balls the size of church bells".

**** Catchweights 147 or no fight. Cotto doesn't care whether he fights Pac or not, it's Far Arum. Cotto stops Pac, Pac should focus on 140lbs weight division, all that fast flurry bull**** will just be hitting Cotto's gloves.

PACQUIAO IS HUGELY AND STUPIDLY OVERATED.
This is exactly what everyone will say after one of these bigger guys knocks his ass out

i think the opposite. judging by the clottey-cotto fight, i give pac a good chance to beat cotto. cotto has less punch resistance now, seems slower and has trouble with guys with fast hands and movement. cotto has lost something post-margo, loaded gloves or not. he isn't the same fighter anymore.

pac would knock cotto through the ropes regardless of the weight
