i am now convinced Thomas Hearns was the greatest ever!

Leonard beat Hearns because because he was better in the pocket and had a better chin. No way could Hearns beat Ward at SMW because Tommy was a lot slower at SMW and didn`t box with the same level of skill as he did in his fights at the lighter weights.

 

Hearns was defeated by Barkley at LH, Hearns was hurt by Kitchen a lot and many people thought he lost that fight, he also looked in trouble against Michael O. Tommy couldn`t take a solid middleweight shot. Duran couldn`t deal with Hearns reach because he had a lightweight reach, that`s why Hagler beat Duran also.

 

Toney and Ward never fought at 147lbs or 154lbs, Hearns was almost unbeatable at those weights, I feel Toney have a great shot at beating Tommy at 160lbs and Ward would have toyed with Tommy at 168lbs.

 

Hearns was easy to hit at middle and at LH he wasn`t that impressive, Barkley was better than Hearns at LH.

 

Norris was being out boxed by Meldrick Taylor in their first round of their bout, so think what Benitez could have done to Norris. Hearns was better than Norris.

Hearns wasn`t as great as Hagler at middle because he didn`t have the speed he had at welter, Tommy probably would have beat Duran at welter te same way he did at LM because of the reach and power difference.
