im american and Dirrell didnt do jack ****...challengers dont back up and jab jab jab...how about throw some punches with bad intentions and "try" to take the fight....he didnt deserve to win, he embarrassed himself and most americans
To me it's not American vs. British or black vs. white, it's knowledge of the sport. Direll desreves credit but it wasn't enough to "take" the belt away.
Part of boxing is home-cooking. It happened with Diaz-Malignaggi, it happened with Dirrell-Froch. It's unfair, but controversy is a part of boxing and it adds to the drama. Dirrell will be back, and he'll most likely be a better fighter for what happened to him.
Why? Dirrell said he learned somethings about this fight...if this is the case, this young bull will be champ soon enough....the ward-dirrell fight looks to be a thing of beauty, dont leave boxing, solid chin....the love of pure competiton can't go that fast, can it?
