i am on a boxing down

i do worry about the direction bxing is going in i hope that we do start geting back to the days where the best fought the best. there is 2 much obsession with protecting a 0 on your record in the UK. I hope the current crop of olympic hopefulls are tested against
each other before they get to 35-0.lets see de-gale and groves for the lonsdale belt for example

i also agree with the football mentality with the hatton supporters , i travelled to the floyd fight and hoped to get into some good boxing debate and soak in the atmosphere ( now i know i'm not an expert but i do appreciate the finer side of the big fights ). Everyone i spoke to just said 'floyds gone get ****ed by a body shot , walking along singing a song etc etc etc '

We've gotten unlucky. Biggest heavyweight fight for years and the return of the P4P king versus the P4P number 2 have both fallen through. As Brits we have had to deal with the destruction of Hatton and the retirement of Calzaghe. Khans fight has been delayed and we genuinely all want to see if he is championship material.

Then after all this bad news, we have Froch. Our glimmer of hope. War with Pascal, war with Taylor and looking set to war again with Bute.
