After hearing that interview I believe it is Audley's Destiny to win and become WBA Heavyweight Champion of the World. :deal
And it's going to happen in 3D! :happy I can see myself at home already with my 3D glasses on ducking away while protecting my face for the pieces of shattered glass coming my way!
Iv ridiculed him for years. But now, for some strange reason i feel i need to get behind him for this one, id LOVE to see him finally do it. But i know for a fact he wont. By the way, Khan has the worst chin in world boxing of the last 50 years.
Audley is handling this fight in the best possible manner for a guy of his age with his resume. Couldn't be more enthusiastic about an underdog, and I have never even seen him fight not even once.
If he hits haye with the shot he hit sprott with he will KO him, but doubt he will, BUT haye i really do think does not think anything of him, and is indeed looking at this as a **** easy fight, and is looking beyond this to a big fight later on, this could be fatal, as harrison has no where left to go if he losses, and we all know its been done before, this could be a repeat of douglas vs tyson from '90 :hey
This is probably why you're rooting for him. You ever seen a boxer scared of getting punched? Even by a jab...
So true, but I always liked Herbie Hide also. He looked scared against almost every fighter he faced as far as I know, and then KO'd him inside 1 or 2 rounds (or got KO'd)
After all of Hayes talk and then running, I hope audley can land that one punch and then Haye gets his wake up call. Would be nice. Can it happen? We will find out. For this fight I am a fan for once Audley. Go Audley GO!
Yeah definitely, it's surreal to watch a sport were guys are encouraged to punch each other in the faces...yet there are guys out there that seem to be scared. Why not just choose a different sport?
Valuev has a chin of steel, had about 7 stone on him and a tonne of height. Harrison - although he has a long reach - is only a little bit taller, and Haye knows he can't take a punch and doesn't like pressure. He gets bombed out in 1, perhaps 2 rounds if he's lucky. Still, I'm annoyed that this is happening. I would have liked it to happen at some point, but it's holding up bigger fights. Haye has or should have bigger fish to fry, it's a shame at this point that he won't man up and fight Wlad, or even target the likes of Povetkin - although his balls seem to have gone missing aswell - or Adamek/Solis/Chambers etc.
I always wondered this, it also causes me to be less sensitive about the issue. They signed up to do it, are making money off of it, and their adrenaline is kicked in causing it not to hurt. Makes me pissed off when a fighter hates to engage another fighter.
