never have or will ever create an alias.

simple as that. i say all i have to say on this account.

and no i havent been to your fights and even if i had that has nothing to do with my opinion of you.

HOF isn't me. if he talks about the same things as me thats cos other people may agree with me when i think you're not the brightest button and certainly not an expert.

so far as i remember it's only you Jeff that creates alter-egos on here.

posting patterns?? you're looking too deep into this!!!

i'm nobody's alias and haven't created any other aliases. i don't see why i would need to.

for all we know jeff thomas isn't even jeff thomas..........

then again who would admit to being jeff???

With Sports Network going bust and Calzaghe retired hopefully that's the end of bogus titles and carefully handpicked fights. We have guys like Haye and Froch who will fight anyone.

Rumour has it Jeff loaded his gloves with jelly and feathers so that he could punch harder.

Sports Network Ltd have not been in the boxing business for some time and promote no boxers. I think you overestimate their influence if you think the IBO, WBO, etc are suddenly going to wind up operations and that boxers around the world will suddenly stop cherrypicking.

Yes I have climbed through the ropes but many many years ago. Was an average fighter at best at domestic level but thankfully a dodgy knee saved me from taking further punishment. I've been very fortunate to have worked in the sport since though. So I'd like to think I appreciate what it takes to make it at domestic and European level, let alone world level. However, it doesn't follow that people need to have boxed to know the sport better than someone who hasn't. But I find it amazing to see an ex-pro completely undermine one of our most succesful fighters when you'd think that they, more than most people who write on here, would realise what it takes to succeed at the lower levels of the sport let alone its higher reaches.

Come on Jeff you're better than this. Whatever your disagreements with someone re: the sport, there's no need to go offering someone out on an internet forum.

Bit early to be speaking of Froch in this vein, he has fought a grand total of one (count it, one) proven world level opponent. Anyway, as someone said earlier if you think boxers around the world are going to stop hand picking fights and the IBO, WBU etc... are going to pack up and go just because Sports Network's gone into administration you're sadly mistaken.
