OK, after watching the Solis-Austin fight very carefully 3 times, and after watching Vitaly vs Briggs and Vitaly vs Sosnowski I have come to a firm conclusion. This will schock many of you since the vast majority of you will highly critize me for this but here it goes !!!

" Odlanier Solis is going to send Vitaly Klitschko into retirement on March 19 " !!!

Yes that's right, and I am so sure of this that if I am not correct I am willing not to post anything for 1 full month but if I am correct, everyone will remember that Gamboa Express forecasted the Solis win on this day of January the 15th, 2011. :hey

    and here's why ...

#1-Solis is younger, faster, stronger, more accurate and very hungry ( and not for food ) to show the World that he is the best HV on the planet, as he showed it in the amateurs for nearly his whole career.

#2-Solis is an amateur Legend, won every International World amateur Championship including the 2004 Gold Medal in the olympics.

#3-Solis has amateur wins over, Felix Savon ( twice ), Haye, Ibragimov, Alekseev etc and in the pros Solis has made it look very easy so far.

#4-Even overweight, Solis still has tremendous hand speed, better power, accuracy and also stamina.

#5-Solis has a secret weapon, his Chin. Solis has never been stopped, not even by the Cuban Legen Savón ( who dispossed of all opponents with just 1 shot ).

#6-Vitaly is too slow, past his prime and ready to be taken.

#7-Vitaly will not know what to do or how to get away from Solis' constant agression, lack of respect and accurate punching.

Well there you all have it, opinions? I am sure there are MANY. Protect yourselves at all times and keep it clean guys!!! :good

and now because of this ...

When Cuban heavyweight sensation Odlanier " La Sombra " Solis challenges WBC champion Vitali Klitschko at Lanxess-Arena in Cologne this Saturday March 19th, he will have with him one man in his corner whom he has known for most of his life. Pedro Luis Diaz Benitez met Solis in Havana when he was still a young kid and immediately recognized his outstanding talent. “We immediately compared Solis with Roberto Balado who was the best super heavyweight of the world at that time,” says Diaz. “It was obvious from the very first minute that the kid is special. He has got a spezial gift, he’s a natural born athlete. He would have been world class in whatever sport he would have decided to compete in. He is made for success and nothing but success.”

Diaz has been coordinating the training and preparation for the Cuban national team since 1989 and led the team to more than 20 Olympic gold medals. He started working closer with Solis before he won his first big international title at the Junior Panamerican Games in 1998 to kick off what became one of the most successful amateur careers in the history of amateur boxing. Odlanier won the Junior World Championships in 1998, beat the Cuban legend Felix Savon in the finals of the Cuban National Championships in 1999 (a title he defended five times in a row including another win of legendary Savon), won the Panamerican Games in 1999, became World Amateur Champion in 2001, 2003 and 2005 and crowned his career with Olympic gold in Athens 2004.

While Solis was winning the fight, Diaz was the mastermind preparing his “masterpiece” both technically and tactically. “Solis is made for competitions and big fights”, says Diaz. “He knows exactly what he has to do and is making the right decisions at the right time. This is what separates good fighters from the best.”

Odlanier Solis and Pedro Diaz is a " match made in heaven " !!!

Here's for everyone who don't want to waste a minute of their life reading his post.

Summary: He's sure Odlanier will beat Vitali because he's cuban.

Like the above has stated, Solis is talented but fat, a problem that plagues this era of heavyweights.

You are ******ed. Against Austin, Solis looked like the overweight, stamina deficient, b-level heavyweight that he ultimately is. Vitali Klitsckho, as he does with every one of his opponents, will have an easy time against Solis. Odlanier is simply not good enough to compete with Vitali. He's too undisciplined, and just not as good as you think he is.

    Deal with it.

Yes, I am Cuban but it has nothing to do with my prediction. There are other Cubans that I don't think that high of !!!

This is based on what I see and it's a damm shame that the vast majority of you can't see past Solis' weight issue !!! :good

I give Solis a chance but the 'analysis' in this topic is pretty hilarious.

Didn't I say, " keep it clean " ??? It's a damm shame that people can never talk without insulting anyone, let's respect opinions without bashing anyone! Is that possible? :-(

    I think it is ...

Your prediction is nonsense and will ultimately be proved wrong. Solis looked like **** against a poor heavyweight in Ray Austin, and you need to deal with that. He is also a b-level heavyweight who will Vitali will easily deal with, you need to accept that too.

    1. You said Solis is stronger than Vitali, there's absolutely no way of that being true. Vitali is a hard 240lbs+, Solis was SOFT in his 240lbs.
    2. You said he's got more stamina, well.. would you mind telling me why Vitali is the most active heavyweight in the world with Alexander Povetkin? He throws more than most other heavyweights on average.
    3. You said Solis is more accurate, yet Solis couldn't even dent Aldo Colliander, meanwhile Vitali broke through Juan Carlos Gomez defense who is far superior to Collianders.
    3. Solis secret weapon is his punch resistance? He's gonna need it. Like Vitali hasn't fought someone with a chin in the past? Peter had a chin.

    Ok,
    1. Solis chin is NOT better than Sosnowskis, Peters, Briggs, or Arreolas.
    2. Solis hand speed is not better than Briggs, Sanders, or Johnsons.
    3. Vitali has a fine amatuer record as well.
    4. Solis is 45lbs heavier than he was when he last impressed ANYBODY.

    I see this fight going
    Rd 1. 10/9 Vitali
    Rd 2. 10/9 Vitali
    Rd 3. 10/9 Vitali
    Rd 4. 10/9 Vitali
    Rd 5. 10/9 Vitali
    Rd 6. 10/9 Vitali
    Rd 7. 10/7 Vitali
    Rd 8. Vitali TKO

After knocking Solis down in the 7th with a body shot, Solis takes a knee after an ensuing onslaught.
After the bell rings for the 8th, Vitali plows into that ample fatness again, Solis goes down, and the ref stops the count at 8 and waves it off.
