Actually VK makes alot of mistakes, he keeps his arms down, he move back instead side to side he paws with his lefthand alot, he hasn't face a fighter fast enough to take advantage of those flaws.

You are right, :think expecially with the fact that he moves straight back. I noticed this in the Arreola fight. If he was fighting a fighter his height he wouldn't of been able to get away with that one. He can get away with keeping his hands down, as long as he's not fighting a fast opponent.

But still Solis has to be aggressive to capitalize on these flaws.

It does when he's fighting someone who knows how to use it to their advantage (and Vitali certainly does).

And if height doesn't matter, why did Solis win a UD over Julius Long (who has been KO'd by Peter in 1, Ustinov in 1, Tye Fields in 3, and Audley Harrison in 2)?

Look, I'm a Klitschko fan, so it would be to my advantage to pump up Solis, in order to make Vitali look better.

But the way I see it, Solis is a good fighter, who could beat several of the top figthters in the world. However, when you get to the very top, the Klitschko Brothers, and a few others...I just don't see the current version of Solis having much of a chance.

Yes, Vitali and his bro know how to use their height. What I meant to say with, "when it comes to Solis height doesn't matter" is that Solis uses his timing, speed, and decent reach to even out the playing field.

As for the Julious Long fight, I've haven't really seen enough of it to comment on it. Sorry about that.

Don't get me wrong, I never said I was convinced Solis would beat Vitali. I just said that I feel he's going to give Vitali tough fight, and if Solis is determined and focused I give him a good chance at upsetting the champ. That's why I'll wait to see what the Cuban will look like during the weigh-in.

And I don't say this, trying to be disrespectful to Vitali. I have mad respect for both the brothers, for their professionalism and focus in the sport.

ANd this prove what? That some fighters get koed by some and not others? The K's had dominate nothing, everytime they step up the competition they been beaten, in VK case he has step up the competition only twice and he is 1-1 he fought a very decent part time fighter named Sanders and a very good one over the hill and out of shape in Lewis, that's about it with VK, his brother on the other hand have to b more careful, Sanders, Brewster and Puritty they not heading to the HOF.

OP: Does it not seem strange to you that the only people who are "sooo sure that Solis will beat Vitaly (sic)" happen to be Cubans - like yourself?

It's one thing to back your flag, but looking at this without any bias this is a bit of a mismatch - and not in Solis' favor.

I sincerely hope Solis is determined and focused enough to prepare for this fight but given his history it is quite a big "if"

If your a boxing fan it was clear in the Kingpin Johnson fight that Vitali has gotten older and will be troubled by speed. Briggs had no speed. Look at Vitali's fight with Kirk Johnson and look at today...Time waits for no man.
