I only wish I could meet these internet characters in real life who are always so sure that Briggs, Solis, Arreola, Peter, Chambers, etc etc, will defeat the K's, so I could get them to bet with me and take their money away from them. The only thing that saved fat slob Solis from collapsing of exhaustion in his last fight was the referee's timely intervention. That being said, he beat the Gaye boy in the amateurs, and he could probably do it again right now. But Doctor K? Surely you jest!

    P.S

The day off is a relax thing not compedative, it is not how quick you get there, it is how relaxed you are taking in the views etc. You just happen to be exercising at the same time.

Well, Solis' recent picture in Germany is showing him slimmer! He looks to be less than 260lbs for sure now...:good

He looks about the same as the Austin fight to me....which would put him around 260.
Solis does have time to lose the weight, he's got almost 2-months, and at 260 he could drop 10
a month and come in at 240. Although that would still be too heavy, imo. And if he's concentrating on
losing weight, that's less time to actually prepare.

We'll see how he looks standing next to Vitali in about 12 hours or so at the first press conference.

I've followed Solis before he was even a Pro, I hyped in the boards when he had 0 fights in the resume, I like the guy and wish him nothing but the best, but he has hugely disappointed me and all Cuban fans out there with his over weight turn outs. Sadly Vitaly Klitschko is not the opponent you want to all of a sudden train for... Sad to say but Solis gets stop.

It's not the amateurs, I don't care if he beat GOD in the amateurs, it's a totally different game (remember Fraudley?), especially when you're a fat pork with overrated power weighing 50 pounds over your best weight and you struggle with a guy W Klitschko defeated with one hand years ago.

Solis will look like an overweight midget and get beaten methodically like every opponent. He's probably got a plan but he'll get hit in the face and take a nap and after go to burger king. :deal

The way I see it is, Vitali doesn't lose to ANY fighter (including all of the ATGs) who is 30lbs overweight.

Vitali is taking this fight very seriously and will show up ready to do business as usual.

I only see two possible ways that Solis could win this fight.

    1. The "Fluke" Scenario, one of those strange occurrences that happens once in every 15 blue moons.

    2. Vitali gets old overnight. (And in regards to this scenario, I could be wrong, but I believe Vitali knows his body, and if he thought he didn't have it any longer, he would hang up his gloves).

I predict that Vitali will wear him down and win via KO or TKO in Rounds 7-9.

No matter how hard Solis trains for this fight it will do him no good. He has wasted way too much time as a pro eating and doing nothing. Hell, he looked like crap against Long and in his most recent fight against Austin, I was surprised at how bad he looked. He was sucking wind, had to slow down, really did nothing. Vlad only need to use his left to put Austin away in the second round!!!!!!! Chambers was faster, had more stamina, had better fights than Solis. Gomez had over 300 amateur fights for Cuba, is 6 feet 4 inches tall, is a southpaw, much more pro experience, gold medal, former world champion, etc. He worked very hard for his fight against Vitali and got his arse busted. Solis is a legend in his own mind.

First of all I hope 4 a Solis win, but in order to do this he have to show up in the best shape of his life, which I doubt it, second no ATG would come to a fight like this 30 lbs over weight, third one fight doesn't show the whole package and definitely doesn't tell whom is going to win, base on your logic Gamboa should wipe the floor with Juanma because RM almost kill him and Gamboa just play with him and koed in two rounds, it doesn't work that way, don't give me the crap about the 3 or 4 lbs advantage, the fight was at 126 and they decide it to b lbs to have more speed.

Solis is lucky to win one round, and that's cold Truth.

The Class size of Vitali and Solis is that Big.

Totally right on target! Good points, this is why I say that Solis will beat Vitaly as Solis is very used to fighting the fighters of those Soviet Countries and defeated them all in line for years and years...

I am getting more excited about this fight , Solis seems to be losing more weight !!!

    Saludos compatriota! :good
