Are you totally serious? Are you on Solis' side or on Vitaly's side since you have a pic of the K bros on your Avatar... :huh

Peter, it seems that Solis is already losing more weight!!! In his recent press pics, he looks around 257lbs, and he still has around 2 more months to go till fight time. I am guessing that he will come in at around 250lbs, oh Vitaly are you in trouble ... :-(

Thanks for that picture !!! Here Solis looks between 256lbs to 257lbs for sure, notice how he has less fat in his chest and stomach and also his arms. He still has around 2 months till fight time, he can easily lose 10 more pounds... Oh my, that means that he will have even more SPEED. :hey

How can people compare Solis and Audley in any way ? :-(

First let's put the facts on the table ...

Solis completely dominated the HV's throught his whole amateur career which lasted for about 6 to 7 years on top, Audley didn't ... :yep

Solis is 3 times World Amateur Champion, 2 times PanAmerican Games Champion and 1 time World Cup Champion, Audley isn't ... :hey

Solis is 2004 Olympic Champion ...

Solis is 4 times Cuban National Champion, ( and that in itself is like 4 other Olympic Golds ) ... :scaredas:

Solis defeated Felix Savon twice, David Haye, Ibragimov and Aleekseev among other top amateurs, Audley didn't ... :-(

Audley only won 1 olympic Gold ...

This comparison is extremely ridiculous ...

Gomez wasn't nearly close to achieving what Solis did in the amateurs and Gomez main problem was that #1 he completely was scared of Vitaly, #2- he was already past his prime at almost 37, #3- he was never a real HV unlike Solis. But the main thing was that Gomez chickened out completely and didn't do anything, didn't attack and didn't throw anything. Like that anyone can be a star ... :tired

solis don't look fat.mostly sounds like alot of klitschko haters to me.so when solis fights a good competitive fight they can talk all kinds of sh**.im a klitschko fan and i will be cheering for vitali but i do think this will be his toughest fight since lewis.vitali has slowed and seems to have lost some power.he looks in great shape but i think his age is definetly showing.

    Good question...

First of all, it's not easy to say. We are talking about a guy here that has between 300 to 400 amateur bouts! Everyone knows that he fought the Cuban Legend Felix Savón ( who Solis defeated 2 times and lost 1 ). Solis said in an interview that Savón could knock wholes thru a wall, that's how hard Savón could hit. Savón KO'ed almost everyone in his path, and many times with just one shot! And Savón was 6'6, similar to Vitaly ...

That I am aware of, Savón couldn't KO Solis when he defeated him. David Haye managed to stunn Solis with a hard uppercut in the first round in which Solis' legs wabbled but he managed to get out of trouble and change the fight around stopping Haye after.

I don't think that Solis has ever been KO'ed, knocked down maybe ( most likely in his early career in Cuba ) but in his adult years keep in mind that he won every major International Event so that means that he was never KO'ed.

Solis has a great Chin, not many people noticed it but Austin hit Solis with 2 hard uppers in the 6th and 7th rounds and Solis didn't even moved... :good

Haye hurt him but gased out. Solis did use to be as quick as Haye. To be fair to Solis anybody Haye connects against is hurt.

Solis is not as fat as people are making out, he looked no worse in the ring against Austin than people like Chambers did against Wladimir.

    245-250 Solis would be interesting.
