Solis will need to be in shape to get in range. If he is he does have a good chance. Vitali is right for the taking.

Even in top shape it would be difficult for Solis to neutralize Vitali size advantage, and at 260+ I just do not see it. Faster hands mean nothing if your opponents stays outside of your reach, and overweight Solis doesn't look like someone able to cut the ring efficiently.

Well, I don't say that your post is nonsense as I respect it. That's the beauty of friendly discussions.

It all depends how you look at it, for you Solis looked bad but not for me. I saw speed, accuracy, agression, power punching and also chin. He knocked Austin down with a JAB !!!

If Solis shows up in shape Vitali's gonna be in a tough one, but I expect him to win one way or another. He's the best HW on the planet in my book but Solis is damn skilled too.

Are you talking about the same Austin that Wlad knocked out in two rounds w/o even throwing one right hand? I respect your opinion but just remember.....opponents and fans have been talking lots of crap saying the Klitschko brother will lose to this opponent and that opponent......and they still haven't lost in years.:D I know that Vitali is getting up there in age and he only has another year or two before most likely retiring. But Solis will have a damn hard time adapting to a guy who is tall, knows how to fight tall, has an excellent jab, and has an iron chin. Don't forget Vitali has a great amateur record and also did kickboxing as well. I think Vitali will win but regardless.....should be a great fight.:good

I agree with you, Solis is very skilled and will eventually be a champion, but I don't think anyone is going to stop the K brothers right now, especially Wladimir b/c he's in his prime and making all his opponents look ridiculously outclassed.

Right for the taking? what fights have you been watching.. you don't realize how hard it is for anyone to get inside on one of these giants. and when they do then they get to feel how strong they really are ..

What I mean is that Solis is very strong 260 pounder, he is a runnaway tank that doesn't know how to back away.

I mean Solis has very good stamina, even overweight. I am not saying that he throws more punches than Vitaly but throws plenty to cause an upset.

Juan C Gomez looked so bad against Vitaly and it wasn't because Vitaly was doing anything, Gomez looked so slow and frozen since the opening bell. Keep in mind that most Cuban ex-amateur fighters don't have a long career as they are well past their primes already in the mid 30's ( as most have over 300 amateur bouts ), Gomez was not in his best days when he fought Vitaly, he was almost 37.

Don't even compare Peter with Solis, they are miles away in amateur accomplishments and skills.

I'm not going to entertain you anymore, I never compared Solis achievements or skills with Samuel Peter. Yeah, Solis is this beast 260lbs'er... yeah, whatever.
